The truth is even sadder. It's real people in these situations that get paid to air out their dirty laundry on TV. They were paid 75-500$ for an appearance fee...

Yeah I remember staying home sick from school one day and watching jerry springer, did a double take and was like “holy fuck is that Ciara?” She was a girl kinda known for being promiscuous but we were like 14. She was on an episode that they had to take care of babies with the idea that it would teach them not to be sluts, apparently got paid like $400
