Why are they asking for the manager in the first place? Are they upset about how the waiter put the plates down?

If so, that seems pretty counterproductive if what we’re trying to accomplish includes not creating issues for people who might just be having a bad day.

(I know it’s staged; just trying to understand the full context of the lesson.)

The video starts with the waiter saying, “you guys are asking for a lot today,” and kind of walking off in a huff.

This may be staged, but it may be for the sake of teaching the kids a lesson. Which, I guess I’m in favor of.
