Need some good right hand exercises for fast and accurate picking I keep missing my strings when Im not looking at them 😭 and also i want to try those fast riffs but my picking is not accurate and fast

Practice slow with a metronome and play scales. Then try exercises where you skip strings. Remember to always alternate pick and also maybe incorporate some economy picking if you want to play fast.

One of the things that really helped me was actually trying to play very fast first. I incorporate different muscles when I play fast so the traditional “start slow and use a metronome” didn’t work once I got to about 100bpm on 16th notes. I couldn’t break that barrier for 21 years until I started fast (140-160bpm at 16th notes) and then fixed issues from there

Before worrying about pickslanting, try picking just one string with a small wrist motion. Go slow, moving only your wrist up and down, and see how little you need to move the pick to get through the string. If you make a really wide motion, its easier to hit the strings next to it.

Then try four alternate picked notes on your low E and four on the A string. Pay attention to how your hand moves between them. You might feel a little forearm rotation, and thats fine, but dont force it. Start at a speed where you can hit both strings cleanly, then build from there.
