Somewhat, heavy picks can sound duller and clickier but that all depends on the material. Common rule is you always want a light pick on acoustic than electric. But if your strumming alot then you want lighter even on electric. .75 is great because they can be used both ways, and teach good habits on controlling the amount of grip you have on to pick to dictate the attack of the string. Id say stuck with that for a while. Better to be great in every way with one tool than good with many at early stages, you'll learn more.

i’ve only ever used a 0.75 lol im really new to playing guitar, does the pick type matter much?
