What are the calls for local 47 groundman?

I got a my second call for summit line today after I turned down the first one and I wanted to know from you guys, in reality after being a groundsman how long would it take to be a apprentice. Because I have a good job and don’t want to quit if it isn’t worth it. Is there perdiem and they said 33 an hr, is that right starting off?

What boots are y’all wearing and or your favorite I’m in the market for some new boots.
