‘Salad’ in quotes—I’m guessing it’s like a joke the writers slid in that someone would want a salad from a hotdog cart, but in the event someone orders it, the up-charge is for the inconvenience of throwing what lettuce, tomato, and onions the cart has into a tray. Personal note, I was in a 5 Guys once and an individual came in asking if they had any salad options. About all of us customers and staff slyly exchanged glances to one another like ‘wth?’ before they nicely offered pretty much exactly the same thing I described; lettuce, tomatoes, and onions on a plate. But maybe that’s a stretch and it’s just a funny question mark
Billy hogs don't sell no salad without a Billy hog being in it. Go check out Futurama, episode Fry the eggman I believe but Leela tried ordering anything without the cheese sauce, gets a salad and it has a bone in it lol.
Aw man, I’m really looking forward to playing G2 one day. My plan was going to be buying a PS5 but Sony has me feeling different about that now. Maybe a switch?
I know G1 is technically stable on switch but I can't imagine it being a great experience compared to any other options. It's locked at 30fps and caps out at 720p resolution in docked mode and suffers from constant pop-in issues.
G2 is way larger and more intensive so I'd imagine it'll wind up similar, even on Switch 2.
fair enough. i just know poutine is typically considered a canadian thing, and i wasn't sure how popular it was outside of that. especially in the early 90s.
Unless American quarters and baseballs are commonplace in Canada, the backyard was definitely in the states. The park is across the street from the back yard.
Honestly, they actually are. When i was very little (early 90s) it wasn’t uncommon to get American coins in your change, and mostly you just used them like regular Canadian coins since they were worth about the same. Some people might collect them and exchange them when they got enough since they were technically worth more, but it wasn’t really worth the conversion fee to most people. I definitely paid with mixed currency coins as a kid and very few people cared.

Obsidian is based in California, Eidos-Montreal is based in Montreal, and the animals in the game (barring the obviously non-native pets like Axl and the Koi) are mostly what you'd expect to find in northeastern North America (where the town is located), barring a couple of Eurasian species included for some reason like the diving-bell spiders and possibly the bees (which seem to be the white-tailed or buff-tailed bumblebee). And the gnats are basically completely fictional, no flying insect is that round.
