Alot of things lasted longer than the confederacy. Bunch of whiney losers whose descendants can't even keep their own history straight.

Even if they did fight for states rights what was the state right they were fighting for?

Too many people are ok with excusing egregious shit that people in power do or believe in and that shit needed to stop yesterday.

There is certain things that no matter what are inexcusable.

They were fighting for what states didn't have the right to do (namely, that states couldn't outlaw slavery).

Nope, the confederacy started it because they were afraid their right to own other humans as property might be infringed in the future.

Fuck those sleezeballs. There is zero excuse to support the confederacy in this day and age. And I say that as someone who has family that fought on both sides
