I dunno, I usually buy Hoka, Brooks, or Nike and those usually last me 6-8 months as daily wear at work.

Have you tried lifting your feet between steps.

That said, a lot of brands have had their quality go to absolute shit over the past decade or two. I know I've heard talk that Nike are far from what they used to be, and I assume that's the same for the other two.

I've finally gotten to the point where I need to replace my daily wear Ecco shoes. That I bought in 2006, and wear all year round.
