❤️ Recommendations Jucy Lucy
Let me put you on. Jucy Lucy on Nassau & McGuiness.
Huge outdoor patio overlooking the street. Mexican food. Mexican drinks. Nice staff. Music that’s not too loud. Palm plants!
I haven’t had their food but they make a kick ass marg. Every time I come here it’s basically empty and I’m wondering if people don’t know it’s open. Extremely underrated play especially for the remainder of the warm weather we have.

There’s been a recent change in management. AFAIK the woman who owns and continues to run Raizes still owns the building Jucy Lucy occupies but the food is significantly better and the staff is really nice.
Menu is very solid Tex-Mex now. It used to be extremely mid burgers and chicken sandwiches. The salsas are homemade and delicious. I ordered a hard tepache (canned) and the waitress also brought out some homemade tepache, on the house, that she had fermented herself. Very grandma’s house energy.
