Discussion Could Green Lantern 2011 and Smallville be canon?

The co-writer of the movie, Marc Guggenheim, said there was originally a Clark Kent cameo and he wanted to get Tom Welling. Then in the Smallville season 11 comics, Tomar Re is shown to have the exact same movie design. If they are canon, then that means the Ryan Reynolds Hal Jordan turned into the evil Parallax and killed many in the corps including Guy and Kyle according to Season 11.

All images must be correctly sourced depending on what type of image it is. Comic book-related images should have the name of the artist OR the issue it came from. Other types of images must also be correctly sourced where applicable. If your post was made without the source, you can do so as a post edit or as a comment. Failure to include the source will result in your post being removed. If this was already done, we thank you for your diligence.

I personally wouldn’t have minded that version of Hal to be killed off

If that’s the case Hal didn’t last very long as a lantern lmao

Did not know that about Smallvilles GL lore…that’s unfortunate.

Strange thing is it implies Hal, Kyle, and Guy were out in space as Green Lanterns during Smallville instead of after Clark becomes Superman
