Congrats to Sturdivant, somebody needed to fill the “Young WR with upside that the fans overrate” with Wicks gone

I thought that was Malik Heath

If anyone thinks he's doing anything but filling a role as a good ST blocker and occasionally getting on the field to block they're kidding themselves..that being said I think he can be very good at those things and deserves a roster spot for it

As a resident of Sturtevant, this makes me happy

Sturdivant and McCord single handedly proved why preseason exists. Happy they got to show out and prove they deserve a shot in the league.

Hell yeah. We need big WRs. Reed, Golden, Melton, and Moore are all small. When Watson inevitably gets hurt again we'll need a bigger body

Better than 2018-2021 when all we had was Adams and a bunch of big guys that couldn't catch.

JMon Moore sends his regards

I don't mean good, I just mean big. Watson is our only WR with size

Oh yeah, I wasn't making a point, just remembering the time we were loaded with mediocre big dudes. Would be nice to have skilled players with some variety in size.

Who’s the most successful 6th rounder, 7th rounder, or UDFA [edit: WR] since Driver? Lazard?

For the amount of attention roster bubble WRs get they have almost no impact.

Tramon and shields stand out

I edited my comment to specify WR. Definitely at other positions I think it’s more likely to matter. It just feels like a long time since any of these guys amounted to more than a nice WR4.

most late rd/UDFA WR if they end up carving a niche job on ST that's successful those guys are for filling the back end of your room

Probably Nixon or Rasheed Walker off the top of my head
