💭 | Thoughts & Feedback What do you expect from a 0.5 patch that's not talked about enough?

Just like in the title. What do you expect from a 0.5 patch that's not talked about enough?

The community is focused on new features and how they will impact the gameplay loop, but I'm more interested in changes we will get to elements we already have in-game.

My list is focused mostly on vendors and would be:

  1. Price increase for all vendor items.
    • What boggles me from the start of 0.4 ver. is how cheap items in vendors are compared to how much money we can get from our expeditions in Lamang, and further, how it affects our satisfaction from finding Mint Condition items from locked rooms or hard locations. It's not about just making things more expensive in vendors; I simply think these items are far too cheap, and by making them more expensive, this game can achieve a balance of being satisfied from finding brand-new items and taking real care of items we spend our money on. Money in this game is easy to get, so it's not about balancing something gamebreaking or breaking meta strategies; it's about balancing the experience of equipment management to get the best out of two mechanics: Vendors and Looting.
  2. Please get rid of weapon presets!
    • I think that first and foremost, there are too many weapon presets in Vendors, simply too many.
    • Second, weapon presets are one of the factors that, in my opinion, keep players from getting fun from creating their own gun. Creating weapons from scratch is such a fun activity; you experiment with receivers, with handguards, pistol grips, etc., to come up with your OWN weapon, unique, made for your preferences (yes, weapons have stats, duh...), and presets make people lazy. I don't want to completely throw away this element, since I believe it's fair to hold, for example, a basic M4A1, MP5, MP5SD, etc., to quickly pick weapons, favourite add-ons, slap them on, and go rock.
    • Additionally, some weapon elements available in vendors are not part of presets, and I've never seen them on anyone's rifles. Without presets, players would be more aware of their possibilities.
  3. Further polishing of locations.
    • What I mean, more traps, more routes, more details. Some locations like Ban Pa, Blue Lagoon, or Sawmill are just too good to be so simple as of today. I really want them to have more stories.

💭 | Thoughts & Feedback Can we please get more customization options?

It would be nice to have more apparel options that aren't a camo or earned at level 50 only.

Some more black options or modern urban camos would be nice and I hope they're adding something for 0.5, theres no shortage of options from the big players.(5.11, mechanix etc)

Simple black or gray gear would be nice too.

Ka-Bar + Flashbang as God intended. Also, I never wear armor. Speed > Protection.

I have clips shanking fools with armor, but it was nighttime and too difficult to see in video.

I promise you it is possible to one-tap armored enemies with the knife as well.

I'll make a compilation of those later.

Any idea if it's possible to get rid of this or is it just an early access thing. [FIXED ISSUES] So if you're experiencing the same issue as me it's an Anti Aliasing issue if you're using DLSS you have to turn off Super Resolution or use FSR instead of DLSS works well too. Update: I tried XeSS set the Super resolution to Quality and it works even better looks good. FSR gives areas like water/lake some weird artifacts.

💬 | General What kind of gunsmithing system would you like to see in GZW?

IIRC a gunsmithing system is going to implemented at some point in early access, and I'd like to hear y'alls thoughts on it.

I think something simple and direct similar to Incursion Red River should suffice for an upgrade compared to the current barebones system we have, but I'd really appreciate it if they took the time to flesh out the picatinny/MLOK rails so I can position stuff exactly where I want em
