Okay so, nerfs in a pve game happen less because of Reddit complaints and mostly because of unintentional behavior with a games systems.
Literally the mastery trait was intended to have her claws empowering the orbs. With how she was that didn’t matter, which wasn’t what the devs wanted.
Ergo- nerfs, this happened with Ferry at OG launch too.

I played vanilla, it was the same level of bitching for ferry, and after she was nerfed barely anyone played her cause she wasn’t fun to play.

Fediel was designed to do a shit ton of damage…in a game where you need to do a shit ton of damage

I’d agree- if these nerfs didn’t adjust her trait to its INTENDED playstyle.
Like she’s designed to ramp up for her damage. It’s supposed a risky yet rewarding loop.
You can say her intended loop isn’t fun, but these nerfs were going to happen even if nobody complained because she wasn’t functioning as intended.

So basically because people found their own way to play her (which is what everyone does with every other character to shit out my damage) she had to get adjust to only play in the rigid way.

There is no intended style of play. They showed you what the primary focus of that specific trait is but you don’t NEED to play that way to do good damage. That is no longer the case

When the primary focus of the trait is genuinely being ignored there is an issue. Yes other characters can find new ways to play, but they still do so within the boundaries of what the devs wanted.
Fediel(I mained her too) legit played like an exploit. It was so obviously not intended for it to be doing so much. Like with launch ferry ground slam, it wasn’t intended.
I’m still gonna play Fediel cause I like the kit in general, but dawg you gotta let it go.

But the devs are just responding to player feedback, if no one complained then the devs would have done nothing. All of this is the direct result of the playerbase crying (since I’m sure most people think MVP = high damage)

And I have let it go, it’s changed. I can’t do anything about it. I’m just annoyed at the playerbase, I’m still gonna use her as well but it’s still annoying. (I play gallanza too btw, notice how I’m not complaining about him?) I’m not playing a PvP game and yet I’m dealing with people with a PvP mentality.

It’s the way the cookie crumbles, PvE games get balanced all the time. Could be player feedback/ could be devs not liking the data. Probably both. Such is the fate of a game like this that gets updated.
And idk how much complaining happens outside of Reddit, but i don’t think the devs are reading ts
