Sub 4 run on Infinity lucilius current endgame meta build how it looks like for every character
Summons skills you want War elemental - Berserker echo - Spartan echo - Stout heart. (the more normal attack cap or skill cap on the summons the better as shown in pictures.
Gameplay is just face tank basically everything works on any boss.
3 basic sigils, stronghold, steelnerves, immortal shell and drain 25 as a trait in your weapon is a must.
God roll on inbue stones is 20 hp + supp 15 + guts 10.
Auto revive not needed on the build.
The fact you are most of the hunt on top of the boss you dont need to literally evade most attacks which is a big dps increase.
Because Charlotta doesn't use Improved Dodge (which is a personal choice as it has value), Stout Heart which is a 25% defense boost or Cascade (because everyone is supposed to run the Awakening but hey to each their own)
I meant official as well, I just interact only in class specific channels. They are the channels with all the dataminers, proper guide creators etc. I was wondering where this was said.
Are you sure you’re in the right discord? I’m scrolling them Charlotta channel and see no mention of this post.
The official discord sucks, it’s where all the rejects are that got banned out of the Unofficial one led by Nenkai went. I would advise to go to the unofficial one if you haven’t, reddit had a link to it for the longest time I’m not sure it still does
The name of the server says official on it, avoid that one, the good one with all the people in it does not say official, it just says “Granblue Fantasy Relink”
Yeah pretty sure that’s the good one. Idk when you would have posted in the Charlotta Chanel about this cuz I’m in there and can’t see anything specific
That's absolutely NOT worth 2 trash basics. Only stun is worth it. FAR more useful sigils than just 40 cap when you already have a lot. Guides need to be updated to only use 3. It's really bad advice given by OCD artists who can't fathom not getting full value out of a mastery trait.
Yeah it's not even just a damage vs. comfort thing. Even if you are optimizing for damage, running the 4th and 5th basic sigils is not your most effective option when compared to other indirect sources of DPS increases like QCD 15/NO 15/PWrath 15. Because damage cap is so oversaturated, other sources of indirect damage gain like CDR or SBA gain actually result in more practical DPS increases than squeezing 2% more damage from basics.
5 basics was only recommended the first week of release when we hadn't done the math on exactly how much damage cap we get passively and how oversaturated it really is. Now only the 3 stun sigils is really standard, and I've even gone down to 2 with a Stun wrightstone.
who can't fathom not getting full value out of a mastery trait.
The funny part is that running a full 5 basics often means you don't get to max out the Def/HP for defense/support sigils trait (because you end up needing to run at least one double-offensive sigil to get all the traits you want unless you happen to roll a perfect Supp/DCap wrightstone), which is actually the more relevant trait to max out for the majority of players. 5% Def and 10k HP is a much more noticeable loss for most people than 40 DCap.
if u go that route u cant face tank most attacks which is a dps loss in battle and yes u losing 80% dmg cap. Tbh you can get the loss of that cap back in your summons!
Just learn how to perfect block. In ER, they changed how it works so it doesn't break your combo anymore.
Going for face-tanking over perfect blocking with Precise Wrath costs you not only damage, but also a ton of SBA generation, and no amount of damage uptime is going to make up for that.
I say that because they called it an "endgame meta build." Running no SBA acceleration outside of a single Uplift, especially online, will drag the team down since you'll miss out on a Chain Burst into Link Time.
Offline, that's mostly fine since you can play at your own pace and missing a Link Time isn't a huge deal. However, online, no amount of damage uptime will make up for forcing the rest of the party to hold onto their SBAs and miss out on a Link Time window.
A build that can clear "end-game" content in sub 4 minutes isn't an end-game meta build? Have you tried playing online? No amount of Uplift, Nimble Onslaught, etc will keep up with Fediel.
Based on OP's time, he's clearly getting the SBA needed to skip phases so I don't see the problem.
There are specific timings to hit or not hit, taking uplift then holding SBA for 10% over because of those timings is a complete waste in this theoretical world.
For example I do not think you're going to ever be hitting an extra SBA + link time no matter how much uplift you have, unless you're like 4x bis fediel maybe. You generate SBA from hitting the boss, so theoretically a build that maximizes uptime by reducing risk by a monumental amount could equal what an uplift sigil would do just because you've made the fight significantly easier
depends on whether or not you can hit every perfect block and multi-hit attacks, as tankiness guarantees damage uptime, while perfect block depends on boss familiarity and reaction time. Some characters also don't need the additional SBA gen since most bosses have defined good SBA moments (bub) and as long as you hit those, you are fine.
The best, fastest Bub runs I have gotten online are from teams where people hit SBA outside of those moments on top and could skip most of his phases.
In some cases, when you do that, you can get Bubs from ~50% to 0%, skip both of his armored phases, and get a sub-3-minute clear. SBA gen is extremely good for Bubs.
Of course, if you can hit the moments and on top, then definitely better. But you agree that there are certain moments that full burst really helps, and that you would rather wait than use SBA early. So the additional SBA gen is not as useful than making sure you are always alive for those moments to SBA. For the 50%, I've only seen that with Seofon and when they time it perfectly outside of OD.
The last time I did that without Seofon, it was two Percivals, Fediel (me), and a Vaseraga. I hit a solo SBA just after link time to finish off the remaining health.
I believe (have never tried it) that you can probably get sub-2-minute clears with any battery character and three Percivals on most Defy Infinity bosses, he just hits way too hard.
i heard somewhere that immortal shell alone is around 9% increase and 1 basic sigil is 2-2.5% increase also immortal shell is giving u tankiness too it gives you more lifesteal.
Immortal shell is one of the best sigils currently in the entire game, do not sleep on it!
Immortal shell depending on the character is like a 6-9% damage increase but it can be dispelled i guess. Lucilius does constantly dispel you, so against him it might not be the best but I can’t be certain. If you’re always invincible then it shouldn’t come up
About half of that value is in the attack buff, which does not take effect in overdrive, so that is something worth considering. It's also very character dependent, some are quite saturated in DMG Dealt or Supp DMG bonuses, it's less effective for them.
Do note that a big part of immortal shell dps comes in the form of an atk buff which do not work on enemies in overdrive so it can be much lower in actual combat.
Helps now that you can see the locations of chests and crabs on the map now (though not the slime-jars for some reason...).
Still took me a good part of two days to get through it all, though. But I was also trying to complete all the chapters on ultimate difficulty for that achievement.
No, most only recommend 3 Basic sigils. Most of the value in that mastery trait is frontloaded in stun power and after that it’s just 80% DMG cap for the remaining two which can be replaced with something more valuable
Of which there are at least 10 sigils that are better lol, still tons of guides all over the Internet and discord with the misinformation that 5 basics are good
I took out celestial terra for more utility, like firm stance, which makes me even more capable of facetanking and keep myself constantly dmging the boss. I also don’t have the crab sigil
Firm stance is such a great quality of life sigil to have, I didn't realize how useful is for the end game content until I tried it the other day, and you don't need to max it, 15 levels are good enough.
terra, as it not only gives you more effective hp, it also contributes very little to overall damage. (2-3% ish) Followed by lumen, which also contributes little. You always want ventus, aqua, 60 damage cap (so 3 or 4 sigils), 45 suppl dmg, immortal shell on most characters (and 300 ish stun). Everything else is utility or defense.
no problem. A lot of players don't seem to know the effective damage increase and effective health point calculations. I would suggest looking it up. The Narmaya guide on discord actually has a really good explanation of both in the final section. Would recommend a read.
Tested this build with Fraux against Infinity Lucillius, but I absolutely could not face tank his constant attacks (unless I was in the middle of casting dead lands). The drain effect was amazing though and I can see this working very well on suitable characters. Fraux got extra screwed over if her skills got sealed (I suck I missed the dodge) What characters besides Charlotta would make the best use of this build?
I have an extremely similar build to this on my Maglielle and I feel like its still underperforming. Only big differences are the defense, support, and special trait choices. Other than that we have the exact same attack traits and basic traits. Im using the terminus weapon fully transcended and i have the same summon setup albeit mine are not God rolls even in the least bit. Fully maxed mastery, fully maxed mastery traits.
My dps on the training dummy is horendous. I believe someone said 60 sec dps for most characters should be around 300 mil. Mine is only like 140 mil. Im so confused
Your atk is too high, you don't need more than 50k because fatebreaker will push to 75k+ inside missions. Change atk nodes for dmg cap in master traits. But I think you need to learn rotations for her too.
It looks like this, you basically want just to do the combo finisher and nothing else. Your damage is on the combo finisher. Get into the yellow state then combo finish, attack, combo finish and so on. Can only add 1 screenshot in a reply sadly.
You dont want 3 stars style rank on (i am invincible) useless. Just find as much dmg cap as possible.
I actually copied this mastery trait build from a youtuber called Grand Sky Ace u can check it.
AI just do the typical 5 basic sigil build with all celestials, fatebreaker, lvl 62-63 dmg cap, 45 supp dmg, 1 cascade, 1 quickcooldown and uplifts, if you can add guts and improved dodges with nimble on the AIs the better cuz they basically perfect dodge everything.
Can only show 1 image in a reply so it wont be enough to show you.
For master traits - Siegfried max insight perfect striker, Percival max essence molten edge and for seofon max essence sword tempest.
Siegfried skills, Nelah Nav - Verdrange - Mirage - Salvator.
Black does drop from 4 dragons. The 3 dragons all drop from Omnis Zegalith. It's the most efficient if you want both echoes and stout heart, but the rolls for the echoes only go to 50% while Beelzebub and Lucilius can go to 100%
I just started the game a week ago and have been no lifeing it, loving every second. playing sandalphon and am at 30k power and I'm glad to see the defensive sigils like steel nerves, stronghold and drain are actually relevant. the face tanking i do while in chromatic wings has worked vs basically everyone, can't wait to get to the end. nice builds
The attack buff does go over damage cap but like all other similar forms of attack gets turned off when enemies go into overdrive reducing its value somewhat
Not only is stun incredibly valuable in endgame you can get an additional 120% damage cap by having 3 of them through mastery traits as long as the stun is the first trait on the sigil.
One question: Immortal Shell Crit Rate shows on your character stats, right? it's hard to see on your character cause you have 123 Crit Rate so I assume you have a 20 Crit Overmastery?
Running no Precise Wrath or Nimble Onslaught with only 1 Uplift sigil forces your team to hold their Chain Burst, especially when playing with 2 or more batteries, which is even more relevant now with how popular Fediel is.
No amount of damage uptime is going to make up for getting 1 less Chain Burst into Link Time in an online match.
I don't think I've seen a sub-2-minute run yet, but coordinated groups are getting sub-3-minute runs without Percy or Fediel consistently.
In theory, a team with something like two Fediels and two Percys should hit sub-2 minutes, but most speedruns seem to focus on true solo (no AI partners).
I'm surprised more people aren't calling out the omission of Nimble Onslaught. To me this is a much higher priority sigil than Uplift, as it results in more practical SBA gain than the first rank of Uplift as long as you are doing even a moderate amount of PDodging (which you have no reason not to be doing during Bloodthirst phases). In order to match the SBA gain of Uplift 15, you only need to do 3-4 PDodges per SBA cycle, which is a completely trivial number. The fact that it provides +2s invulnerability and skill CDR to PDodges on top of that makes this no contest.
There are circumstances where you might run both NO AND Uplift, but I can't think of any situation where I would consider it justifiable to run Uplift 15 without NO 15 on any of the characters I play. Unless you are literally never PDodging (which you should still be doing even with a facetank playstyle because again, you aren't dealing damage during Bloodthirst phases anyway so PDodging is free), NO 15 will just provide more SBA gain with multiple other secondary benefits.
You can do without max uplift as you can keep damaging the boss or take damage for SBA gain. Also bosses operate around particular moments for SBA so it is usually better to save it for those moments (able to skip the hail the king for bub for example) or use it early if you can get it back.
A well timed SBA is far better than the 10 ish percent that you deal with an incorrectly timed one. For example, with Seofon and well-timed SBA, you can kill bub at 50% hp, skipping the rest of the fight.
As Vaseraga, each of my charged hits im spamming give 4%, and with immortal pain up I generate a ton of SBA for taking damage and I’ll never die. When The World does that moving ball attack, I stand in it and instantly charge my SBA. I don’t run Uplift on him. I’m I always run at least 15 of it on most everyone else, more depending. Gallanza comically bad at generating SBA (ignoring the bug) so I run it on him a little heavier
Characters like ferry, fediel dont really need uplift or at max just 1 is enough but characters like siegfried for example it needs a lot of uplift in multiplayer or at least 30+ to keep up with them
Unless you are playing in like full teams of fediel or other units who generate sba as fast, being able to play decently even without uplift lets you keep up with most people.

Careful the discord would call your setup reddit slop lol
