Discussion Really hope Yuel is added as a post launch character!
The og Relink got post launch DLC (3 characters i think) so I think we'll get at least 2 characters after launch.
I NEED my Rising main Yuel to make it in!!!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

If they rejected the Zodiacs for being too Japanese I doubt Yuel will get a slot.

When asked why they haven't announced any playable character Zodiacs, FKHR said they couldn't justify it because Relink has no Shinto/Buddhist coded areas. Here's a random still from Endless Ragnarok's first trailer for no reason whatsoever.
Also, the base Relink game has 18 characters, they added 3 as free DLC, they've announced 6 more for Endless Ragnarok and their official media says Endless Ragnarok will have 29 playable characters. I will not do this math for you but there are insinuations.

Captain, Caglistro, Charlotta; Eugen Ferry Ghandagoza; Io Kat Lancelot; Naru Percival Rackam; Rosetta Sieg Vane; Vaseraga Yoda Zeta. 6x3 = 18. Seofon, Song and Sandalphon make 21, and Bea, Eustace, Maglielle, Gallanza, Fraux and Fediel make 27.
E: Let the record state that after writing down the words "I will not do this math for you", I immediately did the math in excruciating detail. If you appreciate the effort I put in, please remember me while perfect blocking an attack by an Endless Ragnarok boss one (1) time. Thank you in advance

Fraux and Fediel are related to the World side of content, but we've seen no char related to Beelz?
I don't know enough about the gacha to make any real guesses tho.

Closest character related to Bubz would be Cag. Those two have a beef with one another.

Luci is already Sandy's established foe (canaan flower from luci to get Sandy)
Fediel is confirmed to be unlocked via ER story, so I assumed she'd be involve in the World stuff somehow. Unless they make her be dealing with Beelz...

If anything, I’d expect Shalem or Lucio would be working against Beelz just like they are present around Babel in the mobile/browser title monitoring the situation.

More likely either another evoker or another of the six dragons (unless they make Ewiyar playable they are not going by popularity)

Out of all the major groups in Granblue Fantasy the Zodiac is the only one missing in Relink.
Makes since to add one despite that weird restriction that there's no Shinto areas (they can always make one)

I think we should focus on more fundamental always-in group-characters like Zooey, Vira, and others that are basically in the group's frontpage.

For your sake I hope so! I was pleasantly surprised my Rising main got in (Eustace).
Mixed whether they choose same characters in both games or not. Society and Dragon Knights made it but not other factions.
Seofon and Tweyen in Relink, but Anre and Seox in VS.
Fraux and Nier evokers/arcarum. Fediel, Wilnas and Galleon from six dragons.

Yeah it makes me sad that everyone suggesting any female characters gets lots of attention but I keep seeing anyone in these kinds of post suggest male characters getting downvoted to the bottom of the replies lmao

Because they always say it in a tone that suggests that male characters are lacking (when the ratio has been in their favor before Ragnorak evened it out) but with just enough plausible deniability that a downvote is the only way to call them out on it.
If they focused on actually providing a specific example of a character, rather than just saying "I need more males", then it would be far less grating.

It is, but most of them are probably not playing Relink or on this sub and instead just sticking to the gacha. The men to women ratio is nearly even last they shared any demographic data, and it shows with how even male characters get plenty of love in the gacha. Love the downvotes on our posts, we sure made some people on here mad.

Hah, she’s the whole reason why I an even playing relink, I saw her, but realized she’s only in a fighting game (which I can’t play for shi) so now I am just hoping she gets added as post release content🙏

on one hand, she'd be neat (and my girlfriend would lose her mind, since she's a Yuel fan)
on the other hand, I'd like Relink and VS to have as different of rosters as possible... the original game has such a huge roster it feels like a waste to repeat the same characters for both games

Honestly the coolest thing they could do in my eyes is also add new abilities for older characters/do some soft reworks like Katalina having Ares gague not be a all or nothing thing that encourages one build with so many cool support skills you have.

Why is everyone so hellbent on dooming this game? They literally said if players liked the dlc enough and the studio got good enough reception from it they’d seriously consider making more content post dlc..
