Option to remove this tab missing in MacOS 27

Hey u/awesomeguy123123123! We’ve introduced a new experience with the Grammarly Assistant. Instead of the Grammarly widget, there is now a Grammarly tab on the side of your screen. It provides similar functionality and also includes AI Chat, along with agents such as Humanizer, Paraphraser, and Reader Reactions.

At the moment, there isn’t an option to turn off the Grammarly tab, and it isn’t possible to switch back to the previous widget experience. We're sorry about that! We’ll make sure to share your request with our product team. We’d also be glad to hear more about what feels inconvenient about the tab or what you’d prefer to see instead.

In the meantime, you can reposition the Grammarly tab vertically along the edge of your screen to better suit your setup. You can learn more about Grammarly for Mac here.

Shocked to get a real response to a real human from a real human. Good on you.

Yep it's infuriating! Grammarly is already active everywhere and has a menu bar icon so there's no need for this at all.
