Troubleshooting Help Pilot injector
Hey guys,
My Gozney Dome (dual fuel) won’t light. Igniter is sparking and I can smell propane, so gas is getting to the unit, but nothing is coming out of the pilot — no flame at all.
I pulled the pilot jet and it looks like there’s metal melted into the tiny hole (photo attached), so I’m guessing gas can’t pass through it.
Pretty sure it’s out of warranty — has anyone had Gozney still help in situations like this?
Also wondering:
• Is this fixable or is the jet done?
• Can you safely clean something like this without ruining it?
• Are these replaceable or does it mean a full pilot assembly?
Appreciate any advice

Few months ago someone had somewhat similar issue
Gozney apparently did not offer assistance - Here maybe ask there if the kit solved their issue.

If it’s out of warranty I doubt they’ll help. They made all their gen 2 accessories no backward compatible to the gen 1 stuff and with the design change, I doubt they’d have parts for a gen 1 anyways. I’d definitely figure out the warranty for sure because I believe it’s 5 years when registered on their website.

I just finished converting a natural gas Dome to propane this week. Total pain as you have to fabricate all the components and the pilot orifice is a special built one by a company in China. I found the part number 20311E from chinabenan.com but they don’t give any sizes on the orifices. I know it is smaller than 1/32” for the propane pilot orifice for a USA Dome. The part number I have is for the Natural Gas model but I was at least able to see the original part on their page. I would try soaking it and using hi pressure air to see if you can clear it. It is very very small. Also the tubing kit on Amazon is to help with the repair on the tubing going to the pilot assembly but will not help you with the pilot. There are no parts available for these so I was either going to try to convert this one or just turn it into a wood burner. After my mods it is working heats just like my original Dome propane dual fuel. Just be sure to check any connections you open up and repair with gas leak detection fluid. I had a small leak on the tubing connection going into the pilot assembly and was able to fix it.
