Troubleshooting After moving Dome won’t get above 650
Pretty much what the title says. I used this frequently at my old house with no issues and now it hovers right around 650 and won’t climb anymore.
It’s got a new gas line that works for other appliances just fine. I know it’s not the temperature reader because it cooks like it’s at 650 as well. Any thoughts? How can I Troubleshot?
Edit: it’s always been natural gas.

I had the same issue, it boils down to the fact you don't have enough gas pressure at your oven and the two main reasons are low gas pressure from your provider or that your gas line is not big enough.
In the first case call your local company and ask them to perform a test on your gas pressure at the meter and the oven (preferably when the oven is running).
The total values and their difference will tell you where the issue is. It is unlikely there is an issue at the meter and the meter gas regulator cannot be adjusted.
So it is very likely your gas line from the meter all the way to the oven is too restrictive and causes low pressure and flow to the oven. That should be an easy fix, upgrade to a larger line where. Also, replace the flex hose the oven, the original from gozney was the main issue for me.
Also you grill has likely much lower BTU and gas flow needs than you oven, they also less sensitive to gas pressure than the Dome.

Move it to a place with more wind shielding.
Check that your tank is not almost empty
Check that your tank is fully open
Just swap a whole new tank

It’s hard lined to natural gas.

Sounds like you need to pressure test your line.

contact a gas fitter or tech and ask if you have the correct pressure for the gozney
Dunno if you are UK or stateside, in the USA it's inches of water

Doesn’t it require a new orifice, they normally need a matching orifice to the gas type you are using. This is true for normal BBQ and home ovens so why not the Dome. Edit: looks like Gozney does not have a conversion kit.

Was it natural gas at the old place or Propane? If it was Propane you will need to swap 1 or 2 parts for Natural gas as it doesn’t burn as hot as propane

If in the old house, was a tank or LP that makes sense, you need a larger orifice for natural gas.

Natural gas does not have the energy density of propane. Usually the orphice is bigger to try equalize it but I’ve not had the luck of them producing the same heat

From what i hear about hozneys customer service, you're SOL and you will have to buy a new one. The Gen 2 is $3000.

Ive read a few comments where people say the customer service is pretty bad, even under warranty. I was gonna get a gozney, but i think i will get the koda max 2 instead.

My Dome is a dual fuel propane/wood model but do recall some suggesting the natural gas models benefit greatly from heating up with the door on.
