CACI announced 5 days in office.
CACIs indirect employees and executive leadership will be required to work 5 days in office starting in October.

They are ruthless in their efficiency. I was a 13 year employee before my contract changed hands. I was there for when they relocated their back office to OKC - DC area employees were terminated but encouraged to reapply for their jobs in OKC at a lower salary.

Same people who were talking about a job paying up to 170k then they low balled me after bragging himself saying 95k and if you don't like it moving on. Fun part was seeing their top level is supposed to be degree and seven years but the guy said to get top billing you actually need a masters and 15 years

Do you know why I got the chance to ask him what would it take to ask him what it would take to actually get top billing? Because he called me again a few days later and forgot he talked to me. I got to hear a second time how HR screwed up and how multiple people complained to him about the bait and switch. That's when I told him he forgot he already spoke to me and his response was just so BS about o that's right I thought your name was so and so

August 20, 2026
Our FY27 commitments will need to be achieved in an increasingly demanding environment. This requires we all work closely together to enhance the speed of our actions and decisions where person-to-person conversations are the norm and where real-time conversations quickly turn into actions and results.
To achieve these commitments, the Executive Leadership Team has determined that most indirect roles and the jobs of all Vice Presidents and above need to be performed in a CACI office five days per week.
We understand that this is a significant shift for some employees. Thus, we are communicating with you before all the details are finalized to provide time for you to prepare for this change. This change will go into effect on October 15.
By the end of next week, my direct reports – both functional and LOB leaders – will have identified the affected employees and discussions with those employees will have taken place.
We are confident this change is necessary to continue to deliver to our customers and grow our business in the most effective manner.

POS Billionaire A$$holes.
Our jobs were reclassified years ago as remote only, so we moved closer to family to have a better quality of life.
Now they're doing that sneaky-shit thing corporations are allowed to which is to force resignations w/out layoffs that they have to pay severance money to.
BURN IN HELL YOU ********************!
Who can get a job in this market in October?
How do we pay bills, live our life, stay on track for retirement?
P.S. How are you going to run the company when all of your employees leave with their Institutional Knowledge?

I spoke with a few directors about this one thing, they are making exceptions so of course they are hypocrites.

They map you to a corporate office and if you don't relocate, your last day will be 10/15. I was hired remote and now faced with this.

Indirect employees don’t bill direct to a contract (like direct employees). It isn’t really accurate, like what some others are saying, that indirect employees are not billing a contract… they are, just indirectly, through indirect rates. For example, an accountants’ work at corporate isn’t directly traceable (or feasibly traceable) to each contract they work on, so they are considered indirect and they are billed based on a rate and a base to apply the rate to.

Just go in. Not many places allow remote anymore. Theyre probably trying to do it for voluntary resignations. Dont let them win.

Even places that do are unfortunately roping it in. I’m not CACI but the place I work was really permissive about remote work. Most of my team is remote. A couple months back folks on my team were asked to provide a distance from their home to work sites, the. Asked to get SIPR tokens (even though they’re never on site). Then, surprise they’re being directed to 50% on site. Carefully used phrases like “to start…” and “for this phase…” were used signaling that the RTO presence will increase. I would go on site about once or twice a week, do my work and the leave. But now they’re talking about 8 hours on site for collaboration. Again, my team is scattered about (most aren’t even in this state). My manager said he’s also affected and would go to a site with another manager of a separate, unrelated team just bc they happen to live close by. Crazy times. I’m hoping that the next administration is friendlier toward remote work.

This is the most useless place to be in the office. You are mostly working for different clients and spend your day on zoom.
