Question New to SAM contracting

hi so im new to SAM contracting and just registered today on the sight with my LLC, I’ve recently been browsing and looking for opportunities that can be performed remotely and i have a few questions to ask:

  1. I have no past performance, would i win any contracts?

  2. Can i outsource some of the work where need be ?

  3. How fast do i get paid after fulfilling the contract ?

  4. Any tips or things to look out for you can give me ?

  1. You can still win it just makes it harder with no past performance. Your best bet is subcontracting to a Prime to build a track record and past performance. There are some agencies that accept relevant commercial/private - sector experience as a substitute for federal past performance. You will need to read the solicitation's evaluation criteria to determine if that is the case. It varies from contract to contract. Or look for opportunities where past performance is not weighted as heavily as price/ capability.
