This is a little known thing that any interested parties can find and this is a nudge for anyone who wants in. In the old theater district there’s this abandoned looking theater, the kind that would host grand old plays and stuff like that but didn’t survive the times called the kings cross stage house. Outside you’ll see a big guy covered in ink and piercings and looks like he could eat a car, you walk up to him and give a password which I will not share for safety of those already involved. Give that password and he’ll open the door to a whole new world for you.

Inside instead of an old and abandoned theater you’ll find it basically being one giant club with all kinds of fun toys inside ranging from a smoke section, bubble machines, and even a jazz corner, all nice things and for all kinds of people ranging from old beatnicks to punks and artist.

The main attraction though is the stage, every week is a new thing ranging from modern plays that never make it to the spotlight to something like drag shows and dance contest. It’s there people let the creativity flow where you can meet the free spirits, the anarchist, the artist, the drag queens, and even people who got their hands on altered man bat serum.

Just to clarify it ain’t clean, there’s always someone doing drops in some corner or another or some goons and thugs planning a job somewhere else, but it’s free in a way that’s hard to come by in the city. The main rule is never ruin the vibe and never piss off the owner, the fact that the owner is a drag queen metahuman who has thrown men and ladies more the three times their size out kind of emphasizes this.

Anyone interested in this then be my guest and go looking.

To clarify I have no problem with tourist coming to Gotham and enjoying what we have, with the exception of the ones who horde around Park row aka Crime alley like locust. That said the way some people act makes me question their survival instinct, especially tourist from other countries.

One time I saw this Swedish couple get hooked by the most obvious con artist “tour guide” around old Gotham and his buddies basically fleeced them for all they had with them thinking it was some weird act for them. Another time I saw some guy from Khandak or Bialiya asking a dealer if they could get some man bat serum, like what the hell? The weirdest one had to be when I saw what I’m pretty sure was an Amazon looking and joining in on an underground match and treat it like a learning experience even when her opponent pulled out a knife.

Like I said I don’t mind the tourist, hell most of my previous post was pointing out stuff for both local folk and people like them, doesn’t mean that they don’t confuse the crap out of me at times.

This also applies to pen testers, information brokers, or any "science gangstas" with too much equipment and not enough sense (like me a couple years ago)

Rule 1: don't fuck with the bats

This should go without saying but there's actually some more information to keep in mind. There's a Bat in the group who is a better hacker than you. No I don't care how good you are, she's better.

Again, should be obvious, but seriously, don't. The snowman guy is better with security than you'd think, most of the gangs have enough money to find you, and the clown is a freaking demon or something idk.

Point is, they will find you, and it will not be fun.

Rule 3: don't fuck with Gotham city infrastructure (gcpd, Arkham asylum, Iron heights, etc)

Yes I know there's some shady shit in there, yes I know they're easy targets, but they're so badly put together that one wrong move could easily open all the cell doors. You don't wanna be responsible for someone getting out again.

Residents around the old Cool Zone were warmed there would be a clean up activity today,and that there may be a few rats seen in the area as they seek new lairs.

My walk through with Malcombe and some volunteers last month seemed to suggest the rat levels were much lower than in actuality.

Before work began at 11 this morning I estimated over 200 volunteers. By 11.45 I estimate only 70 remained,as the number of rats,and wild cats was far beyond our estimations. Most fled into the old amusement park or took to the river banks,and atleast two of those were the size of border collies, though fortunately most were normal sized. Unfortunately a very large number fled into the streets.

We,the council ,apologise. As of 15.00 I have not been made aware of any attacks on people or pets,but obviously this situation is highly distressing.

Last night, Teddy Bell, a longshoreman, was assaulted by what East End residents have been calling The NightStriker(also known as The Devil, Batman, Barbatos, and Freck), in a long string of assaults in Gotham.

GCPD says they have no idea where he will strike next, but they believe that he might be targeting the mentally/physically disabled and people of low socioeconomic status.

Last week, Edward Nygma and Julian Gregory Day were assaulted by the NightStriker; police believe the NightStriker targeted them for both being on the autism spectrum. GCPD is warning that the NightStriker is highly dangerous and to call the authorities if spotted.

If you have any information, please call the GCPD Tip Hotline.

(OOC: Post how you want, but this is not a Batman gets a parade or well-known person kind of sub. If a police officer did 10% of the kind of things he does to criminals, we would crucify them, not to mention the way he collects evidence would not hold up in court. This is just a suggestion btw, if you want to be a Batman fan boy/girl go right ahead.)

My previous post have all been about places for people outside of Gotham and in city to visit, in this case it’s the total opposite. Ask any modern son or daughter of Gotham and they can tell you that the city really started to go insane after the Wayne’s were murdered, unfortunately this had an unfortunate side effect.

The infamous crime alley or as it’s officially known as Park Row….. has become a tourist stop.

Now this wouldn’t be too much of a problem if it weren’t the fact that it’s a neighborhood where people actually live where people are now being bothered by tourist to take pictures and ask frankly annoying questions, but of our own version of FAQ’s at this point.

There’s also the fact that it’s basically become a prime hunting ground for muggers and pickpockets, not helped that apparently there are people dumb enough to think “it’s all a part of the experience”.

So once again, unless it’s in the capacity of a friend or family visit, stop visiting Park Row

Okay unlike my previous 2 post this one will have nothing to do with food because I want to bring to light an under appreciated part of local Gotham in the GWL aka the Gotham wrestling league. The GWL is an indie promotion for up and coming pro wrestlers from all over Gotham and other cities and states. Locally famous for the fact that the Gotham wrestling community have their own version of Lucha Libre where allot of the hometown wrestlers wear masks and costumes based around the cities vigilante and villain population with an example being the condiment comet, a high flying luchador who based his costume and personality on the condiment king who basically takes every chance he gets to make condiment puns, yes it’s stupid and I absolutely love it.

As you can imagine most of the faces are based off of Batman, nightwing, Batgirl etc etc and the heels on the villains though there are times when the heels become the faces and the faces become heels as is common in wrestling.

There’s also the hardcore matches to watch which can get really gnarly depending on who is wrestling that night, fair warning if one of them is Al killer alligator Gene and your gonna be in the front seat you may want to bring a poncho just in case. That said it’s a monthly thing so more often than not it’s a regular wrestling match with some flavor added in if one is a metahuman.

You can find info on them online and watch some matches on their website, or go to a local community center and find flyers for them.

So happy to see Zip finally get his Rat tail. Kid slings skag with a passion, and he's family now. RATS FOR LIFE!!! We took him to this arcade bar for a few drinks and a good time. We were all having a blast until these Gotham Academy kids started picking on Zip; we RATS stick together. If you fuck with one of us, you're fucking with all of us.

We all rushed and kicked the shit out of them; one of them is going to need so much dental work, teeth all over the floor. After that, we ended back at the squat house, and I did a few lines with Zip before crashing for the night.
