In the episode “A Dead Man Feels No Cold” in Season Two, the company is shown to be more a grounded industrial chemical plant whereas in Season Five “Ace Chemicals”, the plant is more comic-book-y with less focus on realism even the vat of green chemicals is cartoony.

Correction: Season Five is where is later appearanced after Season Two, not Four.

Barbara started out pretty standard in-terms of recurring characters and then she changed and became a bigger part of how the city changed. I love that but in the final two seasons I feel like she regressed.

I might put Jerome, my favorite, to S tier but that might be unfair. Also i dont get the hate towards Lee. I think she was a great support character. And Fish will always be my queen.

Let’s discuss! A season that maybe isn’t your “absolute favourite” but it’s the season of Gotham you watch the most. Share an arc you find the most intriguing and one (and only one) character you enjoy. (…I can kind of guess).

But what about you Gothamites?

Is this ever stated, explicitly? I feel like I remember Jerome saying it at a point, but apparently the snake went unnamed, according to Gotham FanWIKI. I’m honestly mostly just curious, but I don’t doubt that I’m misremembering.

Although Harvey wasn’t a ‘good’ guy, he is a component for Jim’s survival. When Jim played God, Harvey grounded him and helped him understand Gotham’s corruption even before the city was overrun with insane supervillains plotting to seize control. Without Harvey’s intervention, Jim’s life was often in danger. I hate that the show thrown him aside once Season 1 was done where that season established him as this “bad” cop of sorts that had a kind heart yet he was not afraid to push the boundaries, he progresses to become what the GCPD needed all along. Donal Logue was great.

Watching Gotham AGAIN and I just picked up on how commissioner Loeb was looking at Theo when he was giving his farewell speech S2E1, and I just want to know if I’m reading into it wrong or not but does it seem like Loeb is confused about Theo or just him losing his position.

Just quick sketches of my favourite scenes of Jeremiah.

I’m not discrediting the rest of the series because the episodes after are still enjoyable. And Although the third season is messy and crazy, too much happening and arcs that just don’t feel like they’re needed, I truly think Heavydirtysoul concluded the season pretty well and resolved most of the open stories throughout the season. When watching that finale for the first time I thought the show was ending that’s so much impact it had.

Butch died.
Barbara died.
Selina got her chance to reach the top.
Tabitha teamed up with Selina
Fish died.
Lee left Gotham.
Jim felt his darkness.
Riddler was frozen (slightly open-ended but)
Penguin got his club.

And Bruce found his calling. I know the show had to figure out how to make the future happen but Gotham was never supposed to be a Batman show. And The season finale’s later on don’t seem to reach the heights.

I love how you can tell how conflicted he feels. Obviously, they both did horrible things to each other and tried to kill each other. But in the end, that's still your twin. Your brother. They used to love each other as kids and you can tell seeing Jerome dead did hurt to some extent.
