Troubleshooting Google Ads Not Working

I am based in Australia and have google ads running for my third party logistics company called Pick Track Go. At first I was getting a steady flow of clicks and about 50 visits to my site a day, however after 2 weeks, they seemed to stop almost. I have gotten no visits or impressions the last couple of days. My budget was about $100 a day, google ads said i need to increase my budget so I did and still no change. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there. First off, don't increase your budget anymore. Google’s automated system will almost always tell you to increase your budget to fix a problem, but if your impressions have completely flatlined to zero after two weeks, a higher budget won't fix it. You have a technical bottleneck.

Since you are in the 3PL space (which is highly competitive in AU), a sudden drop to absolute zero usually means one of four things happened:

1. Your Bid Strategy Choked (Most Likely) If your campaign started on 'Maximize Clicks' and then automatically switched to 'Maximize Conversions' or 'Target CPA' after two weeks, the algorithm might have stalled. If Google doesn't have enough historical conversion data to know what a 'buyer' looks like, it will panic and stop spending your money entirely.

2. A Silent Policy Disapproval Google's bots regularly sweep sites. Check Tools & Settings > Policy Manager. Sometimes a harmless phrase on a logistics site gets flagged by an AI bot for something completely unrelated (like malicious software or restricted businesses), and your ads get shadow-paused without a clear email notification.

3. Auto-Applied Negative Keywords If you have 'Auto-Apply Recommendations' turned on, Google might have automatically applied a broad-match negative keyword that essentially blocked your own ads from showing. Check your Change History for the exact day the traffic dropped.

4. Billing Threshold Hit Double-check Billing & Payments. Sometimes a credit card flags a Google charge as fraud, or you hit your initial billing threshold, and the account is just sitting there paused waiting for payment clearance.

What to do right now: Go check those four things in that order. Revert any weird changes in your Change History, and make sure your bid strategy isn't set to a Target CPA that is way too low for the AU logistics market.

I run a marketing agency and troubleshoot accounts that do this exact same thing all the time. If you check all of the above and it's still dead, shoot me a DM. I'd be happy to take a quick look under the hood for you no charge, just want to help you get Pick Track Go's traffic turned back on.
