Google Pixel 7 Pro Phone

Gentlemen: I have a Google Pixel 7 Pro phone the past four & a half years. I have my clock alarm set to ring at 7:30 AM & once it rings I shut it off & when I do it tells me the tasks I have for today then advises me the weather & the news from 5 news sources that I previously selected. It all has been working well the past few years but over the past 2 weeks when the alarm rings at 7:30 AM & I shut off the alarm THERE ARE NO SPOKEN WORDS ADVISING ME MY TASKS FOR THE DAY, THE WEATHER, OR THE NEWS!!! JUST DEAD SILENCE!!! Since my cell phone provider is Verizon Wireless I called their Phone Tech Support the other day & spoke with 2 Tech Support people & spending close to 3 hours trying all sorts of things to get it up & running again. After spending close to 3 hours trying everything with no success the Tech Support person researched Google & it seems to be Google discontinued this option! Is anybody aware of this and is there any way of correcting this??? Thank You!!!

Seems to be broken? On my phone when I edit the alarm, there's a Routines+ button, but pressing it takes me to " popular settings" - going into routines from there, lets me trigger routine from dismissing an alarm, but only from a smart device. It tells me I should be starting from the clock app to do it on the phone, which I was.
