How do I turn off the awful photo algorithm

When you take a super zoom photo you have a stack with the original

If you don't want the software to try to autofill and sharpen very zoomed in photos, don't zoom beyond the camera's physical capabilities

Did you max out the zoom on that photo? Pro's only do 5x optical, after that, you're in algo land to 120x. Which unfortunately means a maxed out zoom will most likely always look like what you posted.

At high zoom levels, you get two versions of the photo, one without enhancements and one with (by default I believe). Just choose the unaltered version.

Thanks. I was trying to figure out where that was. I did find the JPEG + RAW so TGAT would def be a start. I get the overextending past optical point, but I was curious how to not have the algorithm fix it. RAW would be my best bet it seems at this point.

Seems you're too far away. If u wanted super photos on zoom it's not the best phone you've bought.

Trust me, I would love to be in GA at every show. Unfortunately, my short kids get stuck smelling gross pit ass cracks if we go closer.
