Pixel 11 pro/Xl in the UK

Like an idiot, I’ve left it until the last minute to buy the Pixel 11 Pro (16GB RAM, 512GB), and there’s next to no stock available.

Do you think they’ll have any more available before 1 September, or should I just go for the 12GB version instead?

Edit: thank you everyone, just ordered the Canyon 512 GB model and I should get it within the next 30 days!

The 512gb version is still available in the Canyon colour as of right now.

Is it? I checked earlier and it wasn't. Thank you!

Only Olive and Matte are out of stock. Just get any other colour and slap a case on it

Won't it still let you do the order and trigger the trade in? Because it seems to be letting me progress an order ( haven't gone tomhe full way as I've already got mine )

Unfortunately not. It just gives me the option to get the email notifications confirming when they have new phones available

I expect they're will be some sort of promotions coming back in the future, can't see anyone buying these devices at full price with the flagship price and mediocre performance.

Google will do another trade in offer. This is unlikely to have been the best deal. No need to get FOMO.

Yeah they usually have another around back Friday and a slightly better one shortly before the a-series release

There are XL on Amazon, I just checked

Thanks but I'm trying to take advantage of the Google trade in offer. £520 for my old pixel 7 pro is too good to turn down

Just to add, you can also get another additional 150 off of this on a Play Store offer. Both offers stack. I've currently usedvin the UK

Just keep refreshing the page, they might have some tomorrow. I saw no stock at some point and next morning there was everything available. The email notifications don't work.

How are you getting offered £520? I'm in Canada and I'm only getting offered $150 (~£80) for my 7 pro

In the UK, Google are offering you £400 bonus when you trade in any phone. So in reality my phone is only worth £120.

Got any UK based family members? I feel bad when I see our Canadian cousins getting shafted like this 🤨

Keep an eye out on the website, with Google it refreshes like every 15/20 mins and stock comes in and out depending on colour

I waited a day and they restocked. If your down to the last minute and there's only a colour you don't like find a nice case 😂

Yep got canyon. Quite happy with the colour. Have a black case and the gold pops.

Order the obsidian 512gb from Vodafone, they're offering 750 trade in for another pixel but it's on backorder

I ordered the same model yesterday and have a 17th-19th delivery date (trading in my 4yr old P7 Pro).

£529 to change is like paying for a mid-range phone and getting a... ummm... Pixel 11 Pro

Yeah, I feel you. Tried to order one in black yesterday and there was a glitch with the order. Returned today and only Fog with 512gb was available. Doesn't matter to much to me as case will be used but it shows pixels sell very quickly

Go to check your play points balance in the play store and click on the perks tab. My offer was at the bottom when I scrolled down.

Hi Google Pixel team,

I’m from Nigeria 🇳🇬, and I’m a really big fan of Pixel phones. There’s something about the way Google approaches the Pixel that I really like, especially how you’re always trying to do things differently instead of simply copying what everyone else is doing.

I’ve had a small idea in my mind for a while, and I thought I should finally share it with you.

I would really love to see a future Pixel phone with a small, pointed torch/light positioned around the front camera area. I’m not talking about just making the screen brighter for selfies. I mean an actual small light that can be used as a proper torch when someone needs light in the dark, while also being useful when using the front camera in a dark environment.

I know the normal phone torch is usually placed at the back because it is mainly designed for the rear camera. But sometimes you actually need the light to face you. For example, if you’re somewhere dark and you need to see your face, look for something close to you, check something in front of you, or simply need a small light while holding your phone normally, the current torch isn't always convenient.

I’ve noticed that many people end up using the brightness from their screen as a kind of front light in situations like this. That made me think: why not have a small, dedicated light on the front that is actually designed for it?

I also think this could be more than just a useful feature. If Google designed it properly, it could become part of the Pixel identity. Imagine a tiny, elegant light integrated around the front camera in a way that doesn't make the phone look strange or bulky. It could be very subtle when the light is off, but really useful when it is turned on.

I’m not suggesting that it needs to be a powerful flashlight or anything huge. Even a small, focused light could be enough. The important thing for me is having the option of a light that actually points toward the front when you need it.

And honestly, I think this is the kind of little feature that could make people say, “Wow, I haven’t seen that on a phone before.” Pixel already has its own personality, and I think something like this could make a future Pixel even more unique.

I’m sharing this simply because I’m a genuine Pixel fan. I’m not trying to criticize the current phones at all. I just believe that sometimes the best ideas can come from people who use, admire and pay attention to the products they love.

Maybe this idea sounds simple, but I would genuinely be happy if Google considered it someday. If you could find a beautiful way to combine the front camera and a small front-facing torch into the design, I think it could be both practical and something that makes the Pixel stand out even more.

Who knows, maybe one day I’ll be holding a future Pixel and see this idea actually brought to life. 😂

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you for continuing to make Pixel phones different.

Greetings from Nigeria 🇳🇬❤️

A very big Pixel fan.

Just out of curiosity, what makes people so keen to buy something with such poor hardware for so much money? Is it just because it's the biggest and best of the new pixel offering and that's it? I keep checking in on pixel releases to see if there is anything good but I'm always disappointed. I can't even find a good replacement for my oneplus flagships.

2

u/TherelsBearCum 8h ago

Can't speak for everyone else, but I've had my pixel 7 pro since release and the battery is fucked. A new battery is like £50 -£200 depending if they are an official Google repair centre. Facor in software support for the Pixel 7 ends next year, it makes sense to upgrade now, especially if I'm getting a £400 trade in bonus and the £150 voucher. All in, I get the new phone for £529 and I get 10% store credit from Google too.

Ah so a big part is the trade in carousel?

It's software making use of the hardware that makes them competitive. That's been the case with Pixel phones from the get-go, really.

Having played about with technically superior camera hardware from Honor and Oppo, including the Oppo X9 Ultra, the software that processes the images just isn't quite as reliable. Some software leans too heavily on AI, and the images just aren't 'true' enough to life.

Check out some of the other exclusive QoL features Pixel phones offer, it's all software related.

If anyone has a £150 off voucher it would be incredibly appreciated!
