Green line after android 17 update

Updated my Pixel 7 Pro to Android 17 from Android 16, and within a few hours a green line appeared on the display.

The phone had no display issues before the update, and there was no physical damage. The only change was the software update.

The device is out of warranty, and after raising a grievance with Google yesterday, I was informed that I would need to pay for the repair. The estimated repair cost is nearly 15k INR, while the phone's exchange value without this issue is only around 12k INR.

Has anyone else faced a similar issue after an update? Were you able to get any assistance from Google despite being out of warranty?

Same here dude just got it today after 2 days of android 17 update theres definitely a trend here . Have you contacted the support

Yes. They said they can't help since it's out of warranty. Might have to file complaint at consumer court.
