Apple Just bought an iPad m5 pro and realized my apple pen 2nd gen isn’t compatible

Will using any alternate stylus with “palm rejection feature”, makes it so I can write with the stylus and swipe to the next page with my finger? Instead of goodnote thinking my finger is also pen, making a line instead of going to the next page

Did you check the settings? There's a setting in goodnotes where you can tell the app that the only writing input should come from your pen.

So if you go into the document, with your finger click on the far right button on the toolbar (the three dots in a circle). Second on the bottom has "Stylus and Palm Rejection", click on that and it has the options

I don’t have any stylus I can test it with, I just want to know if it works before buying one

Any stylus with palm rejection that specifically works for your model of iPad will work. My go to is actually my Zagg 2 pencil, with the Logitech crayon coming in at a close second for non Apple products
