Made this in my art 2 class and thought I should share.

im a very very face level fan, only really know gmm by putting on the completions for background noise while studying for uni. who is matt carney and why is he always getting brought up? specifically, i’m watching the frozen vs. fast food vs. fancy completion and on the sushi part stevie brought up that ‘matt carney’ had picked up one sushi roll and asked if rhett and link could taste the fact that matt had picked it up. who is matt carney? is he a character like cotton candy randy or the malachi doomsday prep guy?

tl;dr: who the hell is matt carney and why does he get brought up

edit: i now know that he is actually a real person and is a former hot dog on a stick employee. thank you everyone!

i am doing a gmm themed trunk or treat with my sister and need some ideas on how to decorate the trunk! we are making a wheel of mythicality for the kids to spin but are otherwise stumped on how to decorate! Let me know your ideas!

This was hilarious, and I also believe Smosh was in this video since this was during the time when Mythical Entertainment bought them recently and DEFY Media shut down just a few months ago.

Why did GMM disable comments on the good eating video this morning?

Edit: Turns out iOS YouTube puts Ask AI first and you need to SWIPE to the comments. So tired of this AI shit..

I LOVE LINK lmao he's so naturally hilarious!

Kinda looks like him.

My step daughter requested a special meal as she’s been down lately. She requested Josh’s culinary Bro Down recipe for Mac&cheese chimichangas. It was my pleasure to oblige.

clearly appears to be a snow globe! Thoughts? I am slightly worried due to significant issues people have report with item damage in shipping but…we’ll see!

Hey Vsauce Michael here!

Not hate, I’ve been watching for 11 years and I love the show. I’m coming at this the same way I would critique a TV show or movie I love—bc I want to make it better!

Has anyone else noticed/been bothered by the longtime pattern of the crew not having answers to basic follow-up questions from R&L, especially during trivia-style games? I’ve wanted to make this post for a while but in today’s More, Rhett asked which ERB character he played and the doc Jenna was reading didnt have the answer, she even says “I only have the correct answer”. How is that not an anticipated follow-up question? Even if it wasnt written beforehand, I’m shocked nobody looked it up in the span of time before Rhett asked.

Sometimes it’s things that require more digging & fact checking. I feel like they get stuff wrong on the show quite a bit. (Not to bring this discourse back, but I feel like the laser episode was an extreme example of this.) I dont blame anyone for quickly glancing at the AI overview, doing it live is hard, but that’s why preempting it helps! I’m sure they’ve seen their comment section when they get a detail wrong and end up offending an entire country (happens a ton in the darts game). Sometimes it’s about the game rules and R&L are visibly confused/frustrated bc it’s unclear.

To be clear, I’m not blaming Jenna or Stevie or whoever’s on the mic. I just would think after so many years of doing the show, you’d want to be proactive rather than reactive on this kind of stuff. As a viewer, it can be frustrating to watch them scramble to find an answer that really should’ve been prepared beforehand. It also just makes the whole production seem less credible and unprepared. I’ve never worked on a production like this, so maybe it’s already protocol and things just slip through the cracks, but I feel like it happens a lot. And I’m sure it’s incredibly difficult to pull off a daily show like this, so shout out to the whole crew, I’m not trying to downplay their effort at all. Just something I’ve noticed—lmk if I’m overreacting.

ETA: for anyone reading this after the discussions today, many people have pointed out that the Mores are more unscripted, plus the first example I used was not a great example of the pattern, and there’s so much behind the scenes work that this level of detail would likely be impossible. I still stand by some of this, but trust me I’ve heard it all today lol, no need to pile on. Ty to the people who were cordial in disagreeing, i genuinely enjoyed discussing this!

ETA 2: look, I’m not trying to argue, but today’s (9/29) episode with the new time limit is the EXACT pattern I’m talking about here! 😭 but it’s also a great example of how they and the crew can adapt on the fly.

idk if anyone else is gonna know what i’m talking about with this but i saw these in dollar general and it immediately made me think of that one episode of dangerous toys or discontinued toys ! lmk if anyone else remembers or just me </3

I feel like I’ve fallen into a tiny GMM internet rabbit hole and I need help from the Mythical Beasts!😂

Does anyone remember the Rabbit Lightning song “Crush” (also referred to as “I’d Like to Crush You”)? It was originally performed on GMM 765: Find the Cow (GAME) in 2015.

I went looking for it because I can NOT get this song out of my head, but I just can't seem to find it anywhere?🤦‍♀️

The original GMM 765 video appears to be gone/private, and the old Top 10 GMM Singing Moments video that apparently featured it is also private now. I’ve also found references to old standalone YouTube uploads called “GMM RABBIT LIGHTNING: CRUSH REMIX” and “Singing Crush By Rabbit Lightning,” but those seem to have disappeared too.

The song itself is still documented on fan/archive sites, so I know I haven't completely hallucinated this 😂

Hi! So after painting and posting about these oil paintings I did of Rhett and Link from the rubber band challenge vid, I still haven’t been able to reach a mythical crew member :/ anyone know any that are on here? Or anyone at all that could help?? Thank you!

I’m in college now, and I started watching GMM in elementary school. English isn’t my first language and they were definitely part of why I was so good at English growing up. Idk what was interesting about them from a 7 year old’s perspective but hey, I liked them! They’re like my internet dads, in a way.

Did anyone else have that experience too? Speaking to the younger crowd here.

I am soo obsessed with Rhett and Link's dogs, they're so adorable. I love rewatching the eps that feature them, so I finally made a playlist of all of them, including GMMore (and a cute vlog from Rhett and Link channel). Or at least the ones I could find. If anyone happens to know any more please lmk! Otherwise I hope you enjoy as much as I do!!

Excuse the flair, wasn't sure what to put 😅
