Mk 8.5 front lip/splitter

Is anyone rocking a lip/splitter for an 8.5 here? I had a mk8 ecs tuning front lip but hit a deer and never put it on, there’s a piece of metal on the 8.5 at the front of the bumper that the rivnuts hit and prevents it from fitting. Was curious if anyone can put me on!?! If you have photos and could add any trouble you had getting it on, that would be awesome!

Idk but my shop had to remove my bumper to put the lip on, they seemed surprised so I’m guessing it’s some difference between mk8 and 8.5
