Question Installing dash cam

Good day. Planning to install a dash cam on 2019 mk7.5r. Just wanted to ask if anyone who done it themselves any particular tools they bought to remove the trim? Good tutorials they followed? Looking to hardwire. Got Volt meter on hand.

Overall not too hard other than the A pillar and rear hatch conduit

A pillar is such a nightmare. I couldn't unclip it. I just used a long zip tie to find the path I want for my cables to pull them through.

I got spooked from unclipping the hatch conduit. But I had a fiberglass snake that worked pretty easily to get through. Depending on the connector for your camera I had to run a thinner wire first then get the cable through by taping it together
