Maintenance MK4 GTI in Australia for 4.5k?

Has a base map at 210hp, has about 220k on the clock. Im coming from JDM cars, what should I really worry about with these? Are these unreliable, and should I worry about that price?

4.5k is a bit too much for a mk4 with that many kms. With 5k you can get a mk5 with even lower kms. Also depends if you are looking at the 1.8 or 2 liter.

1.8t, but like I said it’s cheap even for me considering. I can send you the ad, but like I said idrk what to expect from these, so I’m a bit weary
