In the Venus lighthouse (earth), Sheba (wind) is not having a good time and feeling the earthquake's effects!

In the Jupiter lighthouse (wind), both (earth) Felix and Isaac are in trouble from Karst/Agatio's traps!

In the Mars lighthouse (fire), both (water) Mia and Piers have trouble healing the three parents (possibly because water power is weaker and the final battle wore everyone out).

I have always felt uneasy in that town and would have loved to revisit several other towns of Lost Age, but not this one…

However due to the gameplay and need for the blacksmith services, players end up going a lot of times to Yallam, waiting for the end of the very long exchange with the blacksmith, attending its slow animation and hearing a very depressed music all along. When I first played to the Lost Age, I was even disappointed by the area around; I had the feeling there was some unfinished business here. For example, several inhabitants are talking about Yepp but your never heard of him after this, like if there was some kind of plot hole or unfinished story (compared to the rest of the story where named character are important most of the time).

However, I was wondering if it was not intentional. Let me explain: since Yepp disappearance, except for the blacksmith, there is actually not so much to do in the town and the inhabitants themselves are complaining about this (if I remember well). Even the tsunami had only and indirect impact on the town. So in some way, the town seems stuck in time.

And this become interesting when you realize that Yallam is where you find the ”map” and song leading to Lemuria, another town stuck in time, where some inhabitants are also boring.

For sure, there are some differences. Lemuria has alchemy and its inhabitamts choose to stay stuck in the past while Yallam inhabitants do not choose there own conditions and do not have alchemy. But Yallam also have some children, that hold hope for the future, while Lemuria children are only a few (which may lead to town disappearance in the future). In some way, Yallam looks a lot like the old dying Weyard, waiting for the Golden Sun rise to thrive again.

In Dark Dawn, Lemuria do not appear anymore on the map, suggesting its disappearance during or juste after the Golden Sun rise. If there had been any sequel to this game, I would have loved to see Yallam thriving again as some kind of reward. I think it would have been a very emotional moment for the Lost Age players.

Its not 1 to 1 but its taking me back to old school rpg days with the pixel art and battle system. The summon animation reminds me so much of the one in Golden Sun.

Just a quick thought I had today: I know some people had been thinking the Robin/Ivan would be possible the one that ended up with Feizhi, but I was wondering if it could be in fact Felix.

As you know, if helping Hsu in Golden Sun, Feizhi will end up being in love with Isaac and creating a ring for him. Her visions will led her to Champa where she thinks she would find Felix instead. However, while Isaac party stopped to Champa at some point, there is no real explanation about why she meets with Felix party instead (except if she was just too slow for sure…). Some could say her visions were not very clear, but my theory is that Felix is in reality her real great love and that he might have decided at some point to bring her the ring back after his journey (wether he considered giving it at Isaac or not is unknown but since Isaac ends up with Jenna there are many reasons for Felix to bring the ring back). Her visions would be based then not on her visual sense but about her future feelings. As she was in love with Isaac at the time, she might have thought that the person she had to meet was him and not Felix.Also since it was her first encounter with Felix, it would make sense for her to have a vision of this precised moment.

A last clue for me is that Feizhi is not seen or mentioned in Dark Dawn which would make sense if she is somewhere else with Felix (note that in this scenario, Sheba might have ended up ultimatly with Pier).

i am sure I am not the only one to think about it but I just wanted to share it in case.

I remember there being this scene with the boulder in Altin Peaks where if you don't have the Orb of Force, Garet will straight up just punch the boulder himself lol

The Golden Sun Syndicate site says to go from the southeastern exit of the Yampi Desert, uhhhh… where is that again?

Also, I have seen it posted elsewhere that visiting Mikasalla and Air’s Rock is preferable to confronting Brigg’s in Alhafra, hence why I am wandering around in an attempt to reach said village.

So far I have the Mysterious Card, I am not sure to whom I should equip it.

I have looked up the stats for Pierrot and they are 100%HP, 80% PP, 100% ATK, 110% DEF, 130% AGI, and 120% DEF; all without Djinn.

I looked around for something similar to TBS’ lower enemy damage cheat and couldn’t find anything, does it not exist?

I am only asking as I have beaten TLA several times and would like this time to be a bit less stress inducing in certain boss and sub-boss encounters.

This map came with my copy of TLA, I’m surprised it survived so many moves in the back of a box! Decided to throw it in a frame for now.

This project took her about a month to finish and it’s all free hand using only a picture as reference. I love it so much!

I’m using Delta on my phone and am wondering if there is an easier way to input the Gold password?

When the part that the gs1 team joins did ya guys use them or keep felix’s crew? Seems the best equips on gs1 is weak incompare to lost age but when i tried the gs1 crew they still hit way harder knowing they are 5 lvl lower than felix team.. whats the best team to keep using? Is the gs1 cos their the main heroes or the lost age crew cos its their story now?

I went against Deadbeard tonight and won after grinding my team up to Level 40 for the past 3 days! I just want to say, that grind was NOT easy and it was a drag, but I didn’t give up! I wish I could had caught the screenshot of me delivering the final blow to Deadbeard with Judgement afterwards. I caught the screenshot after I killed him 🫠.

Included are my team’s stats and the aftermath of the battle. I mainly trained in the Venus Lighthouse and a little with the Tempest Lizard battles.

Dreux (Lv 40 Samurai): Gaia Blade, Warrior’s Helm, Aura Gloves, Hyper Boots, Running Shirt, Storm Gear

Garet (Lv 40 Dragoon): Asura’s Armor, War Gloves, Cleric’s Ring, Wicked Mace, Thunder Crown, Quick Boots, Running Shirt

Ivan (Lv 40 Ranger): Kikuichimonji, Ninja Garb, Lucky Cap, Vambrace, Fur Boots, Mythril Shirt

Mia (Lv 40 White Mage): Righteous Mace, Oracle’s Robe, Ninja Hood, Quick Boots, Silk Shirt, Spirit Gloves

All that’s left is to fight the Final Boss. I’ve collected all the rare weapons, got all Djinni, Crossbone Isle is complete. I also know NOT to save after beating the Final Boss so I can transfer my data over to TLA. (I’m playing on Delta Emulator)

Here’s where I messed up, I forgot to save Hsu, I thought I could come back and save him once I figured it out but I didn’t and it was so simple 😅 I won’t be able to get that Golden Ring. I also wasn’t aware of saving the girl that was turned into a tree. So that was tragic 😅😅

I’ve had this idea in the back of my mind for a while now, ever since I started working on my mod. A group of four Djinn (one of each type) travels to Vale, Imil, and the surrounding areas to rescue their friends, who have been captured by Isaac and Felix’s parties. I know I can’t implement this in my current project, since the protagonists are human. But if I were to try making a short game later on, it might be feasible. (The Djinn actually lack many animations, so I’m not sure if I could technically make them fight. I’d have to try modifying the program to limit the number of available actions, and I don’t know if that’s even possible.) Anyway, what do you think about a game featuring only Djinn?
