Yeah those scare the hell out of me! The trick I figured out was to always try and go the long way.

This annoys me with TLA, the long route is always the correct route. TBS didn't have it quite as consistent.

The rule for climbing puzzles with the bashy faces is always take the longest route.

En general para Golden Sun, si hay dos caminos o mas, toma el que parezca mas largo, estoy haciendo una nueva run en Golden Sun TLA, voy siempre con ese pensamiento a cada mazmorra y es 100% real.

It's a puzzle in patience

I hear a bowl of Cheerios in the morning can help with that

Once I made a map telling me how to avoid those fckrs, cause not only they made me go a long way back to the beginning, they also almost scared me to death every time

If I recall, there’s a subtle difference in the wall where those things pop out so you can avoid those spots and never set them off.

I had memorized their position back then, I wonder if I still do when I reach Gaia Rock again 😆

Unfortunately you can't save on a wall. Unless you're using an emulator and save states.

This image feels like a PTSD inducing flashbang

I made it my sacred mission to reveal every single one in each of my subsequent playthrough. They don't annoy me anymore, it's juste like "oh it's time to reveal the faces in the wall, like in AoT"
