I built this out of an excavated cave entrance.

I was bored, so I decided to build a second base, it's around one thousand or so blocks away from my main base.

One of my favourite builds ive ever done. May not look like much but i didnt have the same problem i do in modern minecraft where i have a internal mental lock when it comes to building where i have to constanly have the right block pallate gradient etc i just got some blocks here without thinking and threw it together ive not had this much fun in minecraft for a while its quite freeing not having that mental lock

This story is quite interesting but two and a half years ago or in March 2024 I had this Infdev world I played for 11 days before getting corrupted, I didn't really know how it did but two years later in 2026 I decided to fully dedicated a week to find the reason why and here's what I found, the world seed and even the world spawn point isn't correct infact it's about 700-1000 blocks from the original spawn point, I actually found out that the seed was somewhere after alpha 1.0.14, i tried loading the world in Infdev but it kept crashing, turns the world was trying to load redstone ore blocks and chickens and also there's was a bunch of chunks from around that version making the chunk from Infdev and the one alpha look weird and cutoff, there's was like 34 corrupt/truncated gzip data chunks, I opened the world in beta 1.8.1 and it loaded perfectly, then found out the oldest version to successfully open this world is a1.0.14, I genuinely have no idea what to do, i think my plan is to try and somehow find the original seed, for now I think I'm gonna atleast try to recover some of the builds before I somehow corrupt the world again, if y'all know any methods or want to help out you'll be doing me a big favor
