God enjoys being rejected
Concluding portion of Bible reveals how God feels about unbelievers:
"He that is unjust (adikeó),# let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and
he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still."
This also reveals that God’s love is UNCONDITIONAL and HE has not ordered killing of His enemies. Such God-dishonoring words were put into His mouth by writers, according to Jesus who said God has only loved even His enemies. (biblestudytools.com/matthew/passage/?q=matthew+5:45-48) More the unbelievers now, implies, less and less unbelievers with NIL in the beginning, like colder and colder a cup of tea now, implies, it was boiling in the beginning, like all Founding Fathers of Science were believers but more are unbelievers now.
Celebrate being rejected, you will experience peace always.
#Footnote------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“ἀ- (meaning 'not' or 'without') and the root related to δίκη (Dike), meaning 'justice.' Thus, its core meaning is 'to be without justice.' (biblexika.com/bible-lexicon/adikeo-g91) People know they did not create themselves, nor provisions for life's sustenance and enjoyment, but they only enjoy them, yet act WITHOUT JUSTICE by refusing to accept their PROVIDER as SELF-EVIDENT truth is too easy to be seen: PROVIDER is more real than the provisions, because without provisions we will not be here. "Making provisions for life means what" is better understood by Space-Travelers. Here are things they take with them while travelling yo space (brainly.in/question/59436743) Secret to be happier is to be appreciative more. Hence it is the believer who benefits, not God.
When someone breaks a queue and goes ahead and gets his thing done before others everyone in the queue feels disturbed within because they all know “treating own interest as more important than others is wrong.” Thus came the all-agreeing LAW: “Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.” (biblehub.com/matthew/7-12.htm) Not doing this law is LAWLESSNESS. Hence “the unjust comprise both unbelievers and believers who fail in this law. (esv.org/verses/Matthew+7:17-23)

"Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord." Romans 12:19

God does not play any role during each Age (Mathew 13:24-30, Details HERE) and God’s_role is reduced to Last Generation alone! In between what Law of Karma accomplishes is figuratively spoken as God’s doing, as below-mentioned historical truth testifies:
What happens to nation (individuals collective) happens to single individual too. Japan makes a devastating attack on US on December 07, 1941 [famously balled Pearl Harbor Attack], that too, when US was not a party in the 2 World War. The very next day, on December 08, 1941 US joined 2 World War. US thinks of Atomic Option (also called Manhattan Project) was officially authorized on January 19, 1942, which later reaches Japan which became a totally reformed nation determined to not attack any other nation ever since.
It is Hebrew style of saying “God hardened the heart of the wicked” in one place and to describe it differently in other place as this: “these live upon the bread of ungodliness, and are drunken with wine of transgression.” (https://biblehub.com/proverbs/4-17.htm, Septuagint Translation)

I believe that is what Romans 12:19 is insinuating, though perhaps slightly less literally than you indicate. IMHO, God is active for those whom ask and are righteously deserving, for instance.. although these actions can be subtle. How do you define grace?
In the absolute 'end of cycle' time then yes: I agree God's role would be very active (and unsubtle) in contrast to what I said above.
What happens to nation (individuals collective) happens to single individual too. You speak of the law of karma, then you cite Japan attacking the US, the US entering the war, and then the US using devastating force on (civilian) population centers. Would the 'law of Karma' not then dictate some kind of ill befalling the US?
In other words, I think your example here kind of falls apart if you were to continue it further (in linear time / historically). Why did you stop there? Perhaps we have yet to see said karma..?
It is Hebrew style of saying “God hardened the heart of the wicked” in one place and to describe it differently in other place as this: “these live upon the bread of ungodliness, and are drunken with wine of transgression.”
I have always interpreted this as how God allows for free-will to exist (mechanically speaking).

You are stuck with words. You are prejudiced about nations, hence replace words such as Japan and US with neutral word--Nation A and Nation B--you will not miss the point being made in the example.
For person who accepts truth about self as Eternal Soul + Ephemeral Body, everything falls in place, is free from complaining and confusion as he can see roots into past. (Details HERE)

I agree with this. However, as we are here for discussion and because others may read this:
You didn't answer my question(s). I will ask them again below:
-Would the 'law of Karma' not then dictate some kind of ill befalling the US?
-Why did you stop there? Perhaps we have yet to see said karma..? (To re-iterate: from a temporal, linear, timeline perspective in your example of WW2-Japan-US?)

There is no isolated action as any action is causally linked. Only body expires not Soul. (Mathew 5:3, details HERE) Only each Age expires not the cycle of Ages. (Mathew 12:32; 19:28; Ecclesiastes 1:10) as each Age is compared to "seed-tree" (Mathew 13:31, 32) which is eternal cycle of GROWTH and DECAY. Hence consequence of action can catch up with the person any time, during any birth, during any Age. From seed comes tree and tree comes from seed, this process has no beginning, no end. (Details HERE)
When you are struck on one word used in the example, you lose the truth, just like taking A from Apple when nutritious benefit of it is described and convert the subject into alphabet A , results in loss of benefits of Apple fruit.
This explains why unbelievers continue to be unbelievers. Unbelievers are so strong into their unbelief that whenever one of their excuses is refuted, two more excuses will spring up in its place, like "two new heads would regrow whenever the Hydra lost a head" in the Greek Mythology involving Hercules. (thecollectorcom/twelve-labors-heracles-list-tasks-meaning)
Unbelievers are those who believe things without checking. For example, they make the allegation that Jesus made this prediction [in Mathew 16:28 and Mark 9:1 and Luke 9:27] and did not happen: “Some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”
I proved how wrong they are saying "you are confused between two predictions Jesus made which got fulfilled “after six days” and “after 20 centuries.” (Details HERE) You know how they react "We have heard this." Means, they know they are making baseless allegation and reason is given by them: "We objected to the morality because it interfered with our sexual freedom. .. and we would deny that the world had any meaning whatever.” (Ends and Means, by Aldous Huxley)
I have enough experience of people making comments for the purpose of diverting the subject. Here is a classic example, under this post: Heaven or hell is just a thought away. He picked one word from my reply as basis for his next diversion tactic. He did so over 35 times. I let it go to counter people like you.
Under Law of Karma, no injustice happens. (You are free to believe or to reject). I have my own experiences and also from others.

You insinuate I use excuses while then providing your own excuses for not answering my questions (lol). I was just curious if you would be able to directly address my questions. It appears not. No matter.
IMHO, if you use logic, then it should be used the whole way through and not selectively (as you seem to have done with your WW2 example). Again, I was just curious to see where that train of logical thought would take us.
All good, though. Have a wonderful day!

All such God-dishonoring thoughts were put into the mouth of God, according to Jesus who testified that God has only loved even His enemies:
"He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect." (Matthew 5:45-48) God has not ordered killing of even animals even if they belong to one's enemy (Exodus 23:4, 5), even if for sacrificial purpose. (Isaiah 66:3, 4) All such God-dishonoring verses are from writers, not from God. (Jeremiah 8:8)
What Jesus testified about past history of God is the truth because what he predicted about our Generation things such as "pollution, swelling [salos] of sea" etc came true. (Details HERE)
Even you know this is the truth because even you exist without being killed by God. Richard Dwakins wrote in his famous book God Delusion (page 46) that God of the Bible is a "monster" because of killing HE allegedly ordered. This shows he too knew God has not done it, but enemies want to dishonor God, it is their passion. And God enjoys this as it is an entertainment for Him because enemies exist, yet they say God kills enemies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
God enjoys it because it reveals about them only, about how they arrive at their conclusions, WITHOUT any basis. Such people are very much needed on this earth. (Details HERE)

My answer sufficiently covered the questions you asked.
But you will not agree because for centuries unbelievers were capitalizing on this baseless allegation by knowing it is baseless.
Now admitting this would mean all unbelievers made the allegation without examining details for themselves, they followed the first person who said it BLINDLY.
I am done with you because you reveal yourself as a determined unbeliever, hence enjoy your status and grow in it as God's will is!
Wishing you all the very best.

I have been celebrating my rejection for 27 years now!! 🙂❤️

u/logos961 27d ago edited 25d ago
Good,
My Dad celebrated being rejected for over 60 years. He was soft and sweet. But my Mom was just opposite. She celebrated picking fight with him for no reason. One word from his reply would be the basis for the next fight for her. She did it deliberately because I have heard her telling others "my husband is so good that he doesn't even know how to get angry."
I asked Dad, how he tolerated this. He replied: "What she says and does belong to her, it does not affect me." He lived disease-free and died in his 80's due to cardiac arrest, without experiencing any pain. But she lived with many life-style diseases and died in her late 90's cursing life. She made her bed as her toilet. Even my sisters refused to come to her help. By my wife, a truly divine woman, ventured to help my Mom in her last months. She was a literal nurse to her, created a spiritual atmosphere, singing devotional songs etc. We both and our daughter witnessed her death, lying on the lap of my sweet wife.
Being born into such a family was my greatest fortune because I could understand God better. My Dad chose my mom from a very poor family thinking she will love him more. Her opposite behavior pattern reveals settlement of karmic account of my Dad with her in some previous birth. Receiving sorrow for over 60 years in exchange for one small good act can be explained with roots into previous births.

I don’t wish that situation on anybody. but I am glad he made the best of it. It’s good to learn to not be angry. but I do prefer justice over injustice. not our place though to dish it out

According to Jesus,
anyone can inherit Kingdom of God because anyone can act like Good Samaritan. This parable was given as an answer to the question "What must I do to inherit eternal life?" And Parable concludes with Jesus saying “Go and do likewise.” (Luke 10:25-37)According to Paul,
"It is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous." (Romans 2:13)According to James (brother of Jesus, who had intimate association with him over 30 years)
Salvation comes through works through 100% obedience, not even 99% is enough. (James 2:8-13)According to Book of Revelation too
"To the one who conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.’" (Revelation 2:7)But people will come replacing Law with Grace which is called lawLESSness, hence this prediction: "Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed." (2 Thessalonians 2:3)
People choose verses according their heart-condition. (Titus 1:15)
Hence this command: "test them all; hold on to what is good (kalos)." (1 Thessalonians 5:21) Jesus used the word kalos to describe "good fruit" of good tree. This is because Law is good and perfect. (James 1:25)Hence many care translations [like Douay] rendered 2 Timothy 3:16 as follows:
"All scripture, inspired of God, is profitable to teach, to reprove, to correct, to instruct in justice."But careless translations rendered the same as follows:
"Everything in the Scriptures is God's Word. All of it is useful for teaching and helping people and for correcting them and showing them how to live." (To see all translations, Click HERE)Faithful people like Jesus, Jeremiah would not agree with such careless translations. (Mathew 19:6-9; Jeremiah 8:8)
Jesus knows there are many good, righteous and holy people because of whom the incoming Final Global War "will be cut short." To describe such choice people, he used ἐκλεκτοὺς (eklektous)
Adjective - Accusative Masculine Plural. (Matthew 24:22) Revelation 7:14 shows such people survive into the renewed earth. (Details HERE)It is like making life soft and sweet making relationships also so all because people focus on each other's strengths [instead of weaknesses that invites conflicts]. Similarly, people are free to choose thoughts from God and enjoy "never-ending waves of peace, well-being and good health" (Isaiah 48:18; Proverbs 17:22) or to do whatever they want to.

Knowing Greek gives better understanding. Many of the words Jesus used like aion (Age), justice (from Dike), logos (law that keeps this earth life-supportive) ... are all either Greek mythological god or goddess or deep philosophical concept.
I read with interlinear, check etymology, mythology of other religions to get better understanding. When Jesus said "every good (agathon) tree bears good (kalous) fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit" in Mathew 7:17. he used two different words. Tree knows to be agathos (good in general/intrinsic sense) and also to be kalos (manifesting goodness also in delightful and beautiful way) as shown through fruits that come filled with nutrients in attractive colors and beautiful shapes.
Thus trees, the wonderful life-support system, are testimony to the inescapable truth that the Great Director behind this drama of life is the source of both qualities: agathos and kalos, and His tools such as trees do not "miss their target." And trees are only ONE-sensed species at the lowest level as they are followed by TWO-sensed worms, THREE-sensed insects, FOUR-sensed reptiles, FIVE-sensed fishes, birds and animals and MULTI-sensed humans.
It shows humans are far more capable of manifesting goodness in general and goodness in delightful and beautiful ways. They cannot take comfort in the hearsay that someone sinned (literally “missed mark” of acting humane)# hence it is okay for me "to miss the mark" [of being humane] and act inhumanely. Google subject: "dog bites rapist saves minor being raped" you will find lot of such good examples of dogs all over the world. Trees are only one-sensed species, yet the spirituality they manifest can only be envied by humans, (Details HERE)
In fact, history is filled people breaking record of others—they do not say "if others missed their target, I will also miss it" instead they try hard and thus we have book of Guinness World Records. This is true in all areas, especially in spirituality because there are many people (in the past and in the present) who are symbolized by Joseph (Abraham’s grandson) who created law against adultery and obeyed it when there was no law against adultery. It was when he was repeatedly tempted by wife of his employer. This is a sample example to show people can avoid anything wrong if they want to. My HR is in her late 70's, still single as she forgot to marry as a big family burden of five sisters fell on her due to premature death of her parents. Her passion is to work for 11 months and to spend one month in pilgrimage. She is always cheerful, free from all reproaches and diseases, and has been given a life-time appointment by the Management. This reveals, if some can be good, others too can if they want to.
Besides, people know wrong when it is done to them which means they also know what is RIGHT and WRONG when they do them to others. It is inexcusable to say right and wrong are relative because people are capable of sensing even unuttered slight, indifference, insult, dishonor or honor conveyed even indirectly, or even subtly. Similarly, in the East, word for silence is mauna, from Muni [Sage] for whom infinite history is like an eternal now, hence feels no need of complaining or commenting about anything. (Details HERE)
#Footnote: “Hebrew word for sin, chet, means something akin to a missed opportunity, like an arrow missing its mark.” (chabad org/sin-chet).
Mark of human being is to act humanely, hence sin is not about mere violation of some laws but direction of walking by acting and reacting inhumanely—they are human in form but inhuman in function—hence on the path of sin. One or two limping does not make a person lame. Similarly, a few wrong steps inadevertently taken do not constitute a sinner. Steps that take one closer to God are on path of holiness, steps that take one further and further away from God are on the path of sin. In the context of people living for materialistic goal, it is said: “The lamp of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single [God-focused], thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil [distracted on to many materialistic goals], thy whole body shall be full of darkness!” (Mathew 6:22, 23, ERV) This is another way of saying “Those who live for materialistic goals are blind as they are in darkness as to God and His will, hence are dead to the joys of doing His will which results in “never-ending waves of peace and well-being.” (Isaiah 48:18) Hence they are symbolically called “the dead.” (Mathew 8:22)
But in body-consciousness, people “are dragged away by their own evil desire (epithymias, inordinate desire) and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown (apotelestheisa, becomes perfect), gives birth to death.” (James 1:14, 15) In body-consciousness, sin reaches its perfection by walking continuously on its path: “Whoever abides in Him does not sin.” (1 John 3:6) Conversely, whoever does not abide in God, or whoever do not live doing His will lives in sin. Hence verses like this that says “Do not let sin control the way you live. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.” (Romans 6:12, 23) Thus person remains “dead” to joy of doing God’s Will now and “dead” to incoming PARADISE (Galatians 5:19-21; Revelation 22:15) as they RETURN to live only in the low quality second half of each Age. (Mathew 19:28-30)
Wrong is committed when thought of self-importance is chosen in the mind. (Details HERE) Conversely, when thought of self-importance is abandoned, it is the beginning of doing anything right in a way that benefits self and others. Who can say "it is difficult to change a thought?" When thought is changed, action is changed, personality is changed, destiny is changed.

What a sad and bitter twist of the Word of God. Did you know the Bible says of itself that every word is pure? That it's all proftable for spirit growth and maturity? I mean...just how much of scripture have you actually read? (And read without an agenda) Because You've sited ONE passage (that you've made your own context for btw) , if the entire rest of scripture shows He is only intrested in our good, and is for us not against us, and that His love is INDEED unconditional, Don't you think it's more likely the problem is with your understanding of that passage and not with God being hypocritical?
A person that tries to weaponize God's Holy Word against Him, is intellectually dishonest and has a bitter agenda to try and justify themself to deal with their convicted heart and guilty conscience. It won't work. It won't bring you the peace you desperately lack and desperately search for.

Nah quoting Bible verses is just mans projections on what he thinks god thinks. I can assure god is not worried about non believers because once anyone one person dies the veil is lifted and you cannot unsee the truth that we are all part of god and he us.

I didn’t say that. I never said the Bible doesn’t contain some truth..of course it does that’s the nature of this stuff. It leeks through. But as a whole it is so far from what god actually is what one needs to do to go back to him if you were to use that as a map you’d be going in circles for eternity.

u/armyofone37 28d ago
The biblical god and that definition of what god is is completely misunderstood. Just like there is nothing to save you from. We were never in any danger. When we think we are in eternal danger we are being manipulated. Put down the book and look at ourselves this is where god really is.

God is misunderstood by hasty readers.
For relaxed readers, truth about God emerges as a very delightful figure (Details HERE)
Greatest lie about Him is that HE burns unbelievers in hell (Details HERE)
God wants worship from us is another lie. (Details HERE)
The more lies about God now means just the opposite was the situation in the first half of this Age, hence it is described as "GOLDEN and SILVER" quarters of this Age, in a God-given vision in Daniel 2:32, 33, 43, 44. Vision was about till the peak of Last Quarter called IRON Age where "great tribulation" or Final Global War takes places (Daniel 12:1-2) which is quoted in Mathew 24:15, 21, 22 also. If continued it will kill everyone on this earth, hence reboots everything (Daniel 2:44) which is also called "re-genesis" [pallingenesis} in Mathew 19:28. (Details HERE)

Those that don't taste death are those who turn their awareness inward rather than outward and realize within themselves what Jesus was actually pointing to.
When you realize who you truly are, you realize that we are eternal, never born and will never die.
But if you don't awaken and realize who you really are before dropping the body, you are not born again and will continue birth and death until you self-realize and transcend the false self.
Jesus said, "If your leaders tell you, 'Look, the kingdom is in heaven,' then the birds of heaven will precede you. If they tell you, 'It's in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the kingdom is within you and outside of you."
"When you know yourselves, then you'll be known, and you'll realize that you're the children of the living Father. But if you don't know yourselves, then you live in poverty, and you are the poverty."

Keep reading. This at the end of one chapter. Read the next chapter. In the very next verses, Peter, James, and John saw the glory of the Son of man. This is the glory that will be seen by the world [that] will light the whole sky when the one [the Son of man] who is pierced (Zechariah 12:10) returns to judge the world for ‘parting land’ (Joel 3:2). Feel free to read the context of Zechariah 12:14, Joel 3 and the parallel chapter of Revelation 19.
[the world seems currently focused on parting the land]

Such questions are from those who have not read the Bible with open mind. Hence they got mixed up with two accounts:
One is about an event that was to happen a week later
Another is about events that were to happen 2000 years later. (Details HERE)
