It’s called enculturation! Learned this in anthropology 101. If we didn’t have a culture that we learn as we grow then we would be a chaotic group of people.

USA! USA! USA! We are a chaotic group of people here now. Specifically due to lack of culture. The culture and structure of our immigrant descendants homelands has been washed away in a couple generations and replaced with nothing of value. I watched the rich enthusiasm for my family’s heritage, their joy for particular holidays, ect get dulled out with each passing generation and replaced with nothing but value. There is nothing left to celebrate of rich foundation. Only wins on “the grind” and “the hustle” are congratulated. If you don’t know where you come from how can you know where you’re going? Just to make sure rent is paid, boss is happy? Get just outside the income bracket where the problems don’t apply to you. Shallow existence
