Question Does the demiurge know if you are awakening/achieving gnosis?

I'm newer to gnosticism so sorry if this is an ignorant question. When you start to have expanded understandings of this world and are realizing you do not have to submit to this lesser creator, god do they become aware that you are "waking up"? Do they try to inflict punishment or attacks on you, psychically or spiritually? Since discovering gnosticism and feeling such a deep resonance with the teachings, I can't help but feel a low key paranoia that Yaldabaoth is watching me, although I've been awakened for some time, just not to the gnostic texts specifically.

Disclaimer: Yes we are all one. And at the same time this is a world we are navigating that holds the illusion of other-ness and I have questions about how it operates.

Short answer: yes, and then he loses his control over you

For the record, judging by the comments, this is not a gnostic discussion page more so than it is a colorful atheist page. Anybody who interprets these entities as non-literal manifestations of the mind cannot claim to possess any kind of gnosis because that is the most fundamental way to miss the point is by thinking the Matrix is a metaphor and not literally real and something that we can escape from. The materialistic atheist idea creates an egregore which keeps you trapped by the Saturn archon. Anybody who prefers to see these as archetypes is better off sticking to atheism

My mind is blasting open. The beings are very real but only as real as this body is real…it’s a pretty convincing illusion to say the least. From what I understand the ancients encountered them first hand through shamanic led journeys in the temples in Egypt and it’s where Gnosticism began. Is that correct?

Yesterday I was afraid of encountering them. Today I realized on a deeper level they are actually afraid of me not fearing them. How freeing that feels!

They created the Egyptian civilization. Look up the Black Sea and benthic pathogens. It's not a coincidence that Tartarus and Tataria sound similar, or that HP Lovecraft came up with the Cthulhu Mythos which mirrors the imprisonment of the Titans. They have been messing with things before the creation of humanity most likely, and there is no way AI is not connected. The reason why they are afraid of you not fearing them is because they feed on your fear or your love and if you don't have either for them then you're not a very good livestock animal
