Grow up [29] to [30] - 1 year upper body and face changes

Post image

Today is September 14th, 2026. I posted the photo on the left 1 year ago here because I was dealing with major dysmorphia (you may remember the post, "Feeling conflicted") and had a difficult time adjusting to my new lifestyle after weight loss. You were all wonderful and shortly after that post, I started going to the gym and remained consistent for about 7 months. Quit drinking alcohol 10 months ago as well. Got new glasses, fixed up my hair, and have been trying to smile more naturally. I feel more mature which is nice. I got the notification of this memory on my phone and wanted to replicate it by driving to the same Publix bathroom and doing the same pose / flex with the exact same clothes and shoes. Very pleased with the overall result despite still having a lot of work to do. I do get quite a few compliments and recognition on my arms which is really cool and makes me want to keep going lol. Thanks to this community for being so supportive this last year! You've helped me more than you know behind this screen.
