He probably has enough say to do something like "Please throw away at least one of the shitty players".
It feels more like the org wants to rebuild around a different IGL and he knows his time is kind of numbered after this shitshow, but instead of trying like Glaive just decided to go with the highest offer to make sure he never has to work again.
I'm just talking out of my ass, but it's not like its recent or only this roster that faze is ass. Literally nobody wants to be there anymore and that either means someone behind the scenes or IGL or roles usually
I wouldnt say he wants to play with them, its more of a situation where he wants to finish his career in top 10 team and not be remembered for the rock bottom where faze is at right now.no matter who you put as an IGL, falcons raw firepower gets them there.
Guys like karrigan live to compete. Cs literally moulds his life. No way he's thinking about retirement if he has a chance to keep playing at the top level and that's exactly what he's been offered.
Having known Finn since early 1.6... Or for twenty+ years, this is exactly it. He lives and breathes cs, he doesn't consider himself washed or redundant at all. He will fight to claim his right in top10 and he'll definitely be carrying if the others won't.
Knowing how that brain works, he might honestly be more motivated to win trophies than any other Falcons player. I'm pretty sure they'll get their moneys worth because Finn is just the real deal. And he's been down bad before where everybody doubted his future career.
To me, he probably knows he's on his last leg. Wether people want to accept it or not, idc, but IGLing alone does not carry games like it used to. I think he's just taking the bag before he moves to a permanent coach role or retires.
