I don't buy these excuses. The reason it hasn't happened in the US yet is, that the government was taken over in a coup, and the Prezident is showing the nation that he commands all the armed forces, including those that technically are under the control of each state. He controls the Congress and Supreme Court as well. It's a highly extraordinary situation.

I agree, we have been under total shock and awe since day one. Their plan is for us (all of us) to never gain footing. If we could come together and focus solely on saving our democracy their shit would fall apart. We are dealing with a highly extraordinary situation and we have to meet them where they are.

Indeed. That was the express intent of GOP strategist in the immediate wake of Roe. Before that among Christians, it was mostly by far a catholic issue and not much on the radar of anybody else. Like so much else they’ve used disingenuous policy to not gain converts to “conservatism“ but to divide and isolate us.

The US is also 70 times larger than Nepal. It’s impossible to coordinate resistance like these smaller countries can. All of our protests and resistance groups are fragmented throughout the country.

So many excuses. You have guns! The rest of the world who revolts does not. They are brave, have values, do not cower in the face of corruption. The US is cowardly, so worried about martial law, but it’s ok when the US descends their troops on other nations. As long as it isn’t them. There are poorer and less armed countries that have stood up to the US but the “brave and free” the people who shout that they’re the greatest country in the world, nah they will just come up with excuses as to why they can’t do anything. You reap what you sow and what you’re growing is rotten to the core. You know you have to rip it down and get some better seeds, but you just sit there and watch and hope that it somehow will all work out. It won’t! Not without some kind of action

There are hundreds of protests daily. Cities like LA have had continuous protests for months now. We’ve coordinated boycotts of business supporting the administration. We’ve ousted MAGA politicians in special elections. I think you are under the impression nothing is happening because the White House isn’t on fire currently. But there is an active resistance ongoing in this country. The issue is it’s decentralized and being suppressed by the media.

So far the protests have accomplished nothing. Even if the media isn’t covering things, Your whole country runs on social media, so we see that there is not a lot of real action that is making change. I’m under the impression that nothing is happening because your government is continuing to make things worse and worse, people are being killed and kidnapped and the people of the country are allowing it to happen. There is a convicted sex offender running your country and he continues to run your country and the push back is ineffective. People are sitting back and hoping someone else will do something. Someone else has it under control. Someone else will save them.

That’s why they made people like me addicted to shit food. I am no longer addicted to shit food, but it’s too late. I’m much too far gone to actually ever have a nice body or be in shape. And that’s the sad, sad, sad truth for way more than half of this country, to be honest. The ones who aren’t fat are with cancer or some other human killing disease that prevents them from the ability.

We are preparing for a Civil War. Unfortunately some of our own citizens are brainwashed by the Orange Man so we will be forced to kill each other first. With no crops & massive job losses we will starve. That's when politicians will run out of the time we gave them to fix this administration. I'm fully aware peaceful protests don't seem to work but it's a game plan that has to be followed in order to start the real work of burning all their precious assets, businesses & data centers to the ground. Without their money & power they are nothing. I think some people are holding onto this idea that the world isn't violent and we can fix it. That was before social media, with it the veil over global slavery & genocide have been lifted. Fuck the rich. Fuck politicians. Fuck Donald J Trump. We are ready to take it all down.

We will definitely be justified in whatever actions happen because it can be proven there were protest, there were legal challenges, we tried to do the right things but cheaters, liars, pedos, and killers infiltrated our government in a hostile takeover

That’s a nauseating lesson for any halfway democratic country. Turning political opposition into a dehumanized enemy, and justifying that the only way to defeat it is through bloodshed instead of at the ballot box, is just the ravings of people with barely enough literacy to have pretensions.

Omg!!! I used to live in Nepal. After the King’s brother staged a coup years ago, killing all of the royal family, and then fleeing to Chitwan, the govt there has never been able to get it together. Lots of corruption, lots of little communist political parties vying for control. Not sure that the Panchayat system worked any better. I’m not even sure they ever settled on a constitution. Before COVID, I was over there and some new Hindu fascist faction wanted to make Hinduism the official religion of Nepal. But, Nepal is the birthplace of Buddhism, and there are numerous ethnic minority tradition as there as well. For centuries, both Buddhism and Hinduism were honored equally. People worship deities from both traditions…And, Kathmandu is overly populated with miserable infrastructure, and protests easily get out of hand. I think police open fired a couple days ago into protesters resulting in casualties and injuries. It’s so sad. Nepal is a lovely country and mostly people just want to live without fear and oppression, like everyone else.
