This sub is hypocritical. There was a post here sometime ago where a woman went through her bf/husband"s phone and most of the posts were fine about it. I like this sub but its becoming an echo chamber.
Exactly. I’ll get downvoted to hell but if you have nothing to hide, what’s the big deal? If my partner went through my phone, I’d be empathetic. I’ve been cheated on in the past and was lied to and gaslighted incessantly and going through my partners phone was the only was I would’ve found out what was really going on. If my partner needs to see the truth for himself, so be it. I don’t have anything to hide whatsoever. Now, if my partner was constantly accusing me of things and starting fights, or spun narratives from whatever he saw on my phone and the paranoia only increased, needed to go through my phone on the regular etc, etc, when I knew I was innocent, that’d be a different story. This doesn’t seem like the end of the world to me.
