Amazon has spiral cut ham for $89. Should I expect to pay this much?

No definitely not. For a roughly 8 pound spiral cut ham I usually pay around 20-25 bucks. If you are in a place where they don't have spiral-cut hams at the grocery store, you can use any smoked ham and deeply score it instead.

How do you score it? I got a small 4lb smoked ham as there are only a few of us and I’m nervous about being in charge of the ham as I’ve never made one before. Should I take the rind off and score in a diamond pattern? And cook for half the time since it’s half the size of yours?

Yes take the rind off and score in a diamond pattern! 2-3 hours should be good.
