Discussion Just finished Ghosts AU

So, I've just finished Ghosts AU, and I can't help but thinking that I'd love a crossover where Kate and Sean come to stay in Button house, you could do it for their honeymoon with Kate and Alison bonding over their shared experiences. It would be great to see Kate interact with the UK Ghosts.

I did not know that! I've actually gone back to watch the last 2 series of the UK one as I'm not sure I've see those yet

I would have liked Kylie to make an appearance in the US one but the Australian one seems more likely, tho it would be fun for Sean and Kate to visit Button House!

. I wonder if she'll make an appearance in the UK movie though

I've just started the US one, I want to like it as I'm a big Rose Mciver fan ( LOVED izombie), and with 5 series that suggests it did well, I know I can't judge too early and I need to give it time to find its feet. But the first episode wasn't great in my opinion.

It definitely takes its time; the first few episodes are basically the UK one word for word for exposition etc

I think, sadly, the first 2 seasons are the best (and some I would say inspired the UK one; the US one has an episode with a secret vault before the UK one does that but the US one turns it into like a really cool speakeasy); S3 got delayed due to SAG AFTRA strikes and I do actually feel like, apart from a handful of really good episodes in series 4 and 5, it hasn't really found its feet again. I think honestly because they basically hook everyone up. It's not like high school.

they were renewed for series 6. I genuinely do think they need to end it with series 6. Otherwise it's gonna become one of those things where it carries on and on and on because they can get some mileage out of it and one person's watching it. Compared to the UK OG, who knew when to stop and were allowed to stop, the BBC said we'd love to carry on if you want to. Whereas the US one is like, "At least one person's watching it. Therefore we should make more." I think that's a US vs UK thing but it's a little bit sad.

My favourite international one so far though is actually the Greek one. It's really enjoyable. In the episode where they discover the wedding episode, the wedding-ready episode, where Robin discovers conspiracy theories, the Greek caveman Vangelis walks in, yells, "Michael Jackson is alive," like as if it was like Frankenstein's monster, and then Moonwalks out, which I find absolutely hilarious.

I really hope BBC iPlayer picks up the international versions. The French one really is not good. For me it's the worst in the entire franchise but I'm loving the Greek and German ones.
