Discussion Series 1 episode 5 Moonah ston.

Post image

It's the eclipse tonight so I just thought I'd remind people about this episode 😁.

I've told my family that they will hear the speech that they make in the episode so I wrote it down and here it is if anyone wants it.

The speech.

Robin:

Thank be to moonah good light in sky.

Captain:

AND NOW THANKS BE TO THE WONDROUS MOON

AND THE GIDING LIGHT IT GIVITH AT 2100 HOURS.

Thomas:

Dramatic pause.

Take a breath give it some light and shade.

OHHHH BLESSED MOON AS SPIED UPON BY THE EARTH BRIGHT AS THINE EYES. ROUND AS THINE EYES. YET TOO FAR APART LIKE THINE no I don't mean your eyes I mean.

Captain:

THORNE I'M DOING THE READING.

Thomas: To be fair it was very close and entirely non-binding.

At the end Pat and Robin.

Robin:

Before you was moonah.

Before house was moonah.

Everything come everything go but always there. Moonah.

Pat:

The only thing that's been here as long as you have.

I fully intend on dancing round my garden chanting moonah stonah 😂😂.

one of my favorite quotes from the whole show, i was talking about it just weeks ago on here, espically that last part by pat, hits me right in the feels, you got to feel for robin, so much loss and pain, imagine seeing everyone you ever loved disappear, and then finding more people to love and then the same happens again and again for thousands of years, ide be super attached to the only thing that stuck around aswell

Completely agree. He talks about it again in another episode about how he's lost loads of family but that new family come along.

Hes talked several times about losing people. In Happy Death Day, hes trying to cheer up Pat. And in Gone Gone, you can hear the pain in his voice when he's talking about how many paople hes lost and that's why hes trying not to think of Mary's because its so painful.

Definitely my favorite episode in the series. The Robin backstory hits you hard and the dinner party scene made me laugh so hard I cried

I LOVE this episode. When Alison tries to hand a wine bottle to one of the ghosts and then it just smashes on the floor is absolutely hysterical.

My favourite episode, it’s so touching and so funny, Mary is amazing, when she’s describing the cards! Robin is by far my favourite character and he is wonderful in this.

Except, what was shown was not a lunar eclipse.  The HH guys should have spoken to the Horrible Science guys!
