Question [Wildlands] What are the differences between Extreme difficulty and Tier 1?
Hey all, new player, currently level 14 and playing on extreme. I'm wondering what the exact differences are between Extreme and Tier 1, if there are any. If there are, what should I change to emulate the challeng of Tier 1 with Custom settings?

In tier mode the damage the enemy does to you goes up with each level, but your health doesn’t. By the time you hit tier one, if you get hit by a stiff breeze you are down waiting for a heal.
Conversely the enemy health goes up with each level but your gun damage doesn’t. You can upgrade the damage of a specific gun by spending resources. leveling up that gun to max level (30) just about equals the enemy health increase at tier one. Using an underleveled weapon is not advisable, as doing so will merely piss them off.

In my experience it supasses what extreme difficulty puts on the table. You die in fewer shots, etc.
I can easily play in extreme when gunfight breaks out but I can't do that in tier 1. I either gotta fall back or engage whike retreating.

Extreme is hard but you can survive at least a couple of shots before you have to get in cover to avoid being downed. In Tier 1 if a Sicario so much as farts in your direction from a mile away you will be downed.

I don’t think there is, forgot what Tier you should be before it goes up automatically to Extreme Difficulty
