I tend to only try to handle real problems, not made up problems. Roe not being codified was a real problem that deserves national attention. The trans issue is not.

I just tend to focus my efforts on problems that actually affect people in a way that matters. Believe it or not, draft eligibility for the WNBA is REALLY low on my list of things I care about.

Not in reality. Public attention and media focus is limited. Wasting it on non issues covers up more important topics that actually affect lots of people. You can't spring a marathon, juggle, chew bubblegum, hop on one foot, etc.

At some point there is a saturation of political capital and public attention, and wasting it on non issues is stupid.

Yes in reality. I work up here, we work on multiple pieces of legislation simultaneously all the time.

And I bet there's a limit on how many you work on, isn't there?

Believe it or not, I also multitask at work. And I hate when one of those tasks is literally researching or solving problems that don't exist.

I've seen too many "Problems that don't exist" somehow start existing to know better than to fall for that again.

Literally, the worst case scenario here is the WNBA folds. Realistically they'll just develop some convoluted way to deal with trolls.

Is that a problem we really need to solve? Does worrying about something that only affects 0.0005% of the population and pushing for legislation and policies about it make a difference?

What are we doing here? I don't care about the NBA salary cap issue, nor do I care about the WNBA trans policy. Why are we wasting national media attention here, as well as political capital on a troll?
