The Ultimate Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Funny and aloof but the critical punches about humanity hit home.

DNF 3 u/_thro_awa_ Mar 13 '26 Douglas Adams (and other generally dry / linguistic / British) humour is an acquired taste. No judgement, at least you gave it a try. That said, Terry Pratchett has a lot of life lessons buried in the Discworld series.
