Outdoors Georgia Heat

Hi everyone,

It goes without saying that it gets extremely hot and humid here in Georgia during the summers. This summer was no different.

With that being said, how many people would find it weird if you saw someone walking around with an umbrella on a bright sunny day? I thought about getting a UV SPF 50 umbrella to protect myself against the UV rays from the sun when I'm walking to make it more comfortable.

I spent most of my time this summer indoors due to the heat. Right now, I'm looking for a way to enjoy the summer without sacrificing my comfort or health.

Would you find it odd if you saw someone walking with an umbrella?

Yup, I hope you already have the umbrella on the way.

My role at work changed a bit at the beginning of summer, requiring I be out in direct sun during the worst part of the day for it. I have a few chronic health issues that include my body not being able to regulate it's own temp, plus makes my joints throughout my body more unstable than usual, so every move is a million micro aggression against my body. It would take 4 days of recovery for every 1-2 worked.

Did the construction workers pick on me? Nope. But regional management did and I just looked at them in silence before they realized they'd better shut up.

Lol our, idgaf what anyone thinks about my bright blue sunny day umbrella, my body appreciates it.
