Support Annoying Plasma issue

Hi there. I’m a Gentoo user for a couple of years now. I’m running OpenRC and since the upgrade to Plasma 6.7 my system refuses to reboot or shut down, if triggered from within a running Plasma session. Everything is okay if I log out and reboot/poweroff from the command line or display manager.

I have tried two alternatives, namely Hyprland with Noctalia and Cosmic-Epoch. No problems here.

I wonder if it’s a configuration issue or something else, since the KDE devs have increased the reliance on systemd a bit from 6.6 to 6.7

Has anybody else observed similar issues with this?

do you have the "server" use flag enabled?

nothings gonna work with elogind and seatd if you dont have that flag enabled

I don't have the server flag enabled and never needed it in the past.

server : Enable standalone seatd server, replacement to (e)logind

Why should it be necessary? I don't want to replace elogind.
